Hi guys. Just wanna share my experience at Kuching Samsung SC (Jalan Song) 2 days ago.

At first I have this problem :



If you look closely around the home button, you can see something like corrosive effect (I dunno how to put it correctly ). IMO, maybe due to my usage of jelly bean button (just my wild guess). I delay my visit to SC because of work. But a month later, at the left side of the display, on the bezel, appear something like a line of air bubble about 5 cm lenght. It really pissed me off.

Yesterday, I took a day off & went to SC. At first, they don't want to repair it as they mention that the defect does not interfere with phone operation. After I beg them that I don't want to live with RM2k+ phone which cacat, they agree. Just after 1 hour they ringed me & asked me to collect the phone & to my surprise, they replace the whole panel (LCD & gorilla glass) for free. They even applied free screen protector & give me an organizer book.

In short, Samsung after sales service is the best. For those who have problem with Samsung phone, i recommend you to try your luck at SC.

Take your sweet time bro. There's so much to do with Android, even your phone stock unrooted. Bored with stock essential app like messaging & contact? Download your preferred one from Play Store. Like me, even though already retired from rooting, i can still customise my S4 with Nova Launcher or Themer. Want faster & simple SMS app? Try Textra. Furthermore, you can disable duplicated app. S4 is so powerful, you can throw anything in it & it won't back down. Try anything to your heart content. You can always ask around it look for guide on the net. My stock S4, armed with Nova Launcher prime + Textra + Disable increasing ringtone + Samsung log converter feels very solid & snappy. Be creative & surprise yourself with the end result.

Hi guys. Anyone can suggest fast & feature rich gallery apps on Play Store? Stock gallery is so slow on rendering thumbnail.

Thanks. I did use it on my S3 back then but already forgot why I uninstalled it . I'm gonna try install it again & see what they improved.

Stock Rom? Of course you can't. Downloading 4.3 now, later I join you, haha.

Done updating. Overall system seem more fluid . Some widget get overhaul. Assistive Light & Active apps widget changed to nice round shape. Camera definitely faster now. Will test tomorrow. Sadly, gallery is still sluggish as before. Will wait for the system to cached thumbnail before make final conclusion.

Finally Samsung got something right. Gallery now load images super quick in 4.3. No more waiting for grey boxes. Just for information, for anybody using Nova Launcher, if u find contact app sluggish to open, open touchwiz home, run the contact app there n close it again, then switch back to Nova Launcher. Using this method you can't force close or clear cache for Touchwiz Launcher but if you clear all the widgets & shortcuts, it will run on the background with less memory usage & Contact app open very fast.
