Yea at least he's able to make that run behind the defender, how many players u know can make runs like he does? His pace provide arsenal another attacking option, and having one more option is certainly better than dont have the option at all. And that's where ozil is needed too..if not u expect him to make that kind of pass to who else? Unless we replace him with Ronaldo if not I wouldn't complain much.
I wonder what will these sheep Arsenal fans say when in a season or 2 time <insert players name here> can't get into the 1st 11 bcs of Chamberlain or miyachi ahead of him??? Bcs being a Arsenal fans means you must accept all first 11 are world class players, if not you are called plastic.
not quite really. although i do agree that he is quite one dimensional and not as technically sound as he should be (being an arsenal player and all) he does have some positive attributes, he has got that pace for the forward runs for the through ball that our midfield is so capable of. but the downside is he needs to improve on his decision making in front of goal. he's still a valuable member of the squad. also, saying that chambo or miyaichi getting ahead of walcott in a season or 2 is also jumping the gun too soon. who knws, touch wood, what if chambo or miyaichi dont get to the level that we expect them to get to (dejavu of walcott when he was first bought)?
All the discussion about flamini made me miss Gilberto. Nabeh, he is the only player that can intercept the ball beautifully. To watch his defense is a joy. Macam moment of brilliance in reading the game pun Ada.
And when he was the captain, all was so good. Until Gallas become the captain haih

calm yo tits bro. if you look at the replay, he did the best he could - on both occasion there were enough power on the shot, he stroke it at the right time and the ball was going to the space besides the goalie and it's unlucky that the goalie managed to save the ball. it's not like he just blindly shot straight at the keeper like Tamil Arasu v. Myanmar
so you have opponent's GK performing well and are you just gonna put all the blame on TW?

+1. credit musth be given to keiren westwood as well. he had a great game.
Re Theo, if you guys notice, his first touch has improve tremendously this season. His positioning too. Just wait until he finds back his goal scoring form, and with Ozil keep feeding through ball to him, he will be a nightmare to defenders and goalkeepers. No need to slagging him just because he missed those chances.

Sit tight and just enjoy the win.
No. He is getting 100k per week so he must score every chance he has. It's unacceptable for him to score less than 2 each game he plays.
Assuming he plays 35 games in BPL x 2 goals = 70 goals. No excuse or #Wengeroutwiththeo.
Give Theo a break. He may not be the most gifted and talented footballer but his pace offers the team a different outlet on the right for a more direct approach.
True his finishing was appalling last night but every player goes through a bad patch sometimes and it just so happens that Theo is facing that at the moment. This is when others in the team will have to step up and take responsibility and Ramsey did just that.
Even a so called world class striker like RVP went goalless and was missing sitters for a period of a couple of months at the beginning of the year.
