take from corner angle and maintain the light is enough for the snap
get an angle that make the interior look spacious

The minimum focus distance of the lens varies with different zoom levels.

Perhaps, as you zoom in, the distance from the lens to the subject fell below the minimum focus distance for that zoom level.

Or rather, the minimum focus distance increased beyond the distance from the camera to the subject.

i want to have a more close up picture ( portrait picture ) covering the whole interior and focus on the light in the middle
my intention to take a human eye level ( 1:100 scale human ) as in the model

1. different focal length will show different perspective
2. different lens will have different minimum focusing distance.

for you, i suggest that you just use a tripod. that helps a lot.

after than, using your whatever lens, just play around with the distance. if the minimum focusing distance doesn't work then shoot further and crop later.

+1 tripod is all you need in this case, product shooting is much the same here, even with low light, you could control the shutter speed to allow more light in or add to EV to get a brighter image

can use your monitor as a softbox as well wink.gif just open a blank word document on full screen and place it closer to your subject wink.gif

From the pic, i think you zoom in too much. I noticed the mouse at the left side is very big. Are you putting your model very near to you and try to focus?

yup. my model is small ( around 10x7x7 cm )
i try to directly take the interior without zooming ( i put the camera infront of the model )
if i zoomed in somehow its look like the picture wont sharp. and got lot of noise.

but i cant take the photo if i didnt zoom it :<

tripod allows you to take shots over long exposures without movement which will let in more light and get a good & sharp image at that wink.gif oh and use of lower ISO will help with the noise as well

this shot is taken without fill flash, on a tripod, lit by a single luorecent lamp at the ceiling, to get the light I need, I exposed it for about 5 seconds.

Notice how the pen is blurry while the product is sharp??? well I handheld the pen but the product is placed on the table while my 600D is on a tripod wink.gif ISO100 on f7.1 I believe... can't remember

if you do not have a tripod, use a bean bag or some solid place to hold the camera steady but be careful not to induce any movement while pressing the shutter

I didn't clean this, shot this at iso100 and adequate exposure so noise is very minimal
