I suspect is your cable issue.
1) Download this app: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment...93&d=1359319171
-If it shows 1400, should be good enough.
2) Change cable and see if it helps.

ya, could be the charger + cable issue. i have seen that before... and adjusting the cable actually gives me a different reading (using the apps shared by fruitie above).

in the end, settled for 3rd party charger instead -- which gives me no hissing sound and consistent current.

My charger spoilt two times but the cable still rocking till today. laugh.gif
Bought a 2-pin Samsung charger from China, claims to be ori, looks ori though. But outputs at 1800. I'm happy. biggrin.gif
Then, the cheap 3rd party charger which I share with you guys here. Extremely pleased with it, I even use it to charge my Note 3 as well. biggrin.gif

Actually the cheap 3rd party charger got hissing too. But still giving 1800mah. Hissing starts at 95% of battery level.

Is it? I shall listen to mine when I use it next time. biggrin.gif

i have the same charger... intro by fruitie. actually, i have like 5 units of those -- littered all over my house/ office... lolz...

only 1 unit got that hissing sound... yes, when it reaches like close to 100%. but luckily that's the unit in office (at home, usually charge overnight and might just wake me).

anyway, for that hissing unit i have, i just unplug after that and connect to PC/ usb.

How can you connect to PC/USB? blink.gif
It is a charger that it is not detachable right?

U beat me. I have two for myself and another one for my sister. laugh.gif

Alternatively u can opt for ipad charger tongue.gif

Yes, I use that too when I'm at my sister's house, since she has few iPads. laugh.gif
Strangely, that iPad charger cannot charge my BlackBerry Bold 9780 but it can charge my Note II and Note 3. laugh.gif

Anyway, hardly use BB anymore, so it doesn't really concern me.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what file system is the Note 2 internal storage? I was recording a video in 1080p and it stopped automatically at 4GB (around 29 minutes).

I know FAT32 has 4GB per file size limitations but there's no conclusive info whether the internal storage of SGN2 is exFAT or FAT32.

Anyone tried recording videos larger than 4GB successfully, either in internal storage or external storage? I was also wondering if it's a hard limit by the default camera app for 1080p/720p on the SGN2, like the 5 minutes 4K recording on the Note 3.

Even DSLR also stops at 29m or something near to that. It is a limitation. So, you just need to re-record again.

Was having keyboard issue with DN2. tongue.gif Fixed it already but lazy to download the update now. biggrin.gif

Will do it if there is any major update, after all I'm really under-utilizing my Note II. It is now my mobile hotspot as well. sweat.gif

Well at least as a hotspot it gives about 6 hrs of use...good leh.

More than that... Turned on since 9.30 a.m., that time with 85% battery left.
Now is still turned on, I'm still in office. 26% left and lots of SMS-es in between.

Very good. thumbup.gif

Mine hits about 20% after 6 hours....perhaps due to battery degradation, or maybe bad service in my location??? I've kept the Note 2 pretty bare after the DN3 v1 flash, since it's more of a work only phone now. tongue.gif

Just left office and it's still turned on while I'm in LRT.
Yes, my Note II is just my working phone as well. Serves me very well.
