Anyone here uses NEAK kernel?

I just flashed Beanstalk ROM on one of my N7105 and I noticed, once again, all my 4 cores are active at once rather than 1 or 2 when idle (dynamic hotplug like Perseus) which has been the same since my CM 10.1 days from T0lte.

My question is, how do I lock my phone to 2 cores only?

So how is the Rom?
Ive downloaded the rom but have not flash it yet.
Joeldroid was the closest to have the most note 3 features apart from dr.ketan's custom rom.
Now i can see that DN3 is something else. I see quite a lot of good remarks in xda. rclxms.gif

Flashed DN3 rom.
Loving it.
All note 3 features available. Including direct input.
Smart scroll option is available but doesnt work YET. (maybe next version)

Those having trouble to get into one handed operation at the home screen, instead of swiping like a thunderbolt tongue.gif , just swipe with a bit of curve from left to right or vice versa. Some stutters or delay when using one handed operation at home screen. No big deal.

OCR for business card is working.
No note 3 camera YET.
No Labs for stock browser. sad.gif
Battery life - Dont know yet. Just 2 hours of usage. I would say not bad actually.

Overall it's a good rom. smile.gif

Did you check the Business Card OCR scanner feature hidden in Contacts?

Looks like this is a better deal than Joeldroid.

Check my post earlier. smile.gif
Joeldroid 3.4.3 has the business card feature. I was using joeldroid 3.4.3 before I flashed DN3.

I rooted my s2 before but that was to customize the looks. With buzz launcher now, dont need to root.

However, the note 3 features are tempting. Theres a chance for significant batt improvement... yum yum
