i still enjoy my 3.4.3 with no issue,
so lazy to follow on.

Joel wont be implementing note 3 features to his rom until the official 4.3 release.

With that said, i will wait for 4.3 official release. I want all stable N3 features. Dowan mafan.

Samsung really ' anak tirikan ' Note2. Expensive 2K + device with unbelievable Shitty
FW update support.
Will definitely be looking else where for my next purchase.

Lol. You and me think differently. To me updates are just little matters. As long as the phone working nicely im happy. But I agree with the term "dianak tirikan".

Maybe you wanna try nexus phones if you like updates.

Samsung is hurting the 'out of the box" users more than us. Me, i just want full bodied Custom Roms.

if only nexus phones offer ext sd support, for sure i buy them. IMO nexus 4 is a beauty, the only drawback preventing me fro buying it is the limited 16gb capacity. Hope nexus 5 offer more than this at least 32gb then I might jump ship but not sure if i can adapt to living with smaller screen size. Anything below note 2 is small to me now. lol

Samsung releases devices like almost every month. To hope that they, a company that conquers the market through sheer volume, to back up their products the bitter end is like expecting Microsoft to support Win XP forever lol.

Besides, it's a cruel truth but they have to force you to upgrade somehow with that kind of market saturation strategy. Sure, the N3 is shiny and has cutting edge specs, but if a larger number of people say "hell, we'll just stick with the old model and wait until it gets KitKat", their margin - which relies on sheer volume - will suffer.

Hence why they're trying so hard to lock down the N3 (and now the N2 and even the S4) against "user modifications" with Knoxy. Just to make sure, they give us a screen that burns out gradually and will probably look like crap after 2 years (which is just what AMOLED is).

Well, that is what Sammy is doing. Planned Obsolescence. Not that every other manufacturers aren't doing the same exact thing.

But, this all should be common knowledge by now, rite?

yeap. they need to ensure their profit if aint buying their new shiny stuff due to the old one still almost as good as the new one sure no profit thus the lockdown

Not that its all bad. Without the continuous rush of production (and consumption), me might not have seen smartphones catch up to laptop resolutions and number of CPU cores in less than 5 freaking years.

It's like Moore's Law on speed. Lots and lots of speed.

I have to agree on that, few years back i couldn't even imagine 8 cores inside a tiny cpu inside a smartphone.

Been using my note 2 for a year. Will be going caseless as it looks sleeker.

Anyone has any idea how much is the 2nd hand value for this?

Good condition should fetch approx 1k +/- 100 or so.
