You may want to try Add-on Checker ( I think thats the name ) and see if it shows you where's the culprit.

SMS BAckup+ can backup Whatsapp messages now.

You will see a Whatsapp folder in your gmail account that you specify for backup.

You can verify by the sirim sticker beneath the battery i suppose. My Japanese docomo phone doesn't have it.

Battery beats everything.

Camera I don't know but google can tell you.

Free RAM should be around 800mb but you don't need to worry about it at all.

Color saturation can be adjusted via settings for several modes.

I posted in note3 thread, that the note3 screen has solved the sunlight legibility problem...fantastic readability in bright sunlight.

Well, emmc was discovered but never acknowledged by Samsung, and though there were reports of SDS, it was not like a wave of it and most users were fine after the first 6 months. There are no further SDS reports here in the last 2 months.

Apart from that, most discussions were on various custom ROMs and their issues by the flashoholics here.

I think S-note can't do much except record inking. See page 1 there's a video about saving your S-note files, which shows lots of xml files and some jpgs.

Kies sucks. Did you try rebooting your PC after each install? There's a different KIES version for Note 3, and one for Note 2, S3 etc.

You can set this in the Gmail settings app for how many days archive to sync. Can't recall exactly where though.
