So many steps just to flash hawkish. I update the recent twrp and flash 4.3 roms. Works fine without reroot.

I had problems flashing 4.3 roms on outdated recovery. The old recovery doesnt support 4.3 roms. After getting the latest TWRP everything works fine. No need to flash SuperSU again.

TWRP shud be better, can nandriod backup to ext SD Card. 

Get the latest TWRP version.

Yes. Dont forget nandroid backup.
There will be a notification by Goo.im for an update after flashing. Ignore it since the dev said it is buggy. Just stay with 3.4.

I've been trying to copy MKV files (8GB) from desktop to my Note II's external memory card (still have 26GB free space) but always stops at around 4GB.

Any idea why?

On Wanam 4.0, it's NOT available. Got the screenie but let's save you the trouble cause it's just missing on my ROM.

That said I need sac to confirm because I routinely TiBu stuff out of my ROMs to lighten them up (system apks included) so it might just be that.

Mine doesnt work. The option is there but FC when selected. Not sure bout other 4.3 roms. Anyway i did a dirty flash and played around with xposed framework. So im not sure whether it is the rom or my phone because of too many mods.

Don't be sad. D/load CamCard app from PlayStore. Its almost same feature. 

@vad3r: You sure your memory card isn't formatted in Fat32? Cause F32 has a 4GB max filesize limit.

@fruitie: Now that you brought it up, a built in business card OCR reader sounds like a very nifty thing to have.

I've been searching for a proper working port if the "Optical Reader" apk (the guts behind the "Business Card" option). No joy so far (except one half working port for the S3), so unless Sammy is planning to give it to us in the official 4.3 release, cam card is as good as it gets.

Which is sad considering the Optical Reader can read multiple languages and pipe it up to s-translate,  Jap included.

how's the air command ? working like charm now ? exactly like note 3 no different ?

still a let down on teh business card feature which is important to you as note 2 is yoru company line phone , 

Camcard should fill the gap if you really need that feature.

Hmm. Now tempted to try out the air command apps.  Check if your Sammy keyboard is working fine with no FCs?  Even handwriting mode?

if you look at the actual thread of the n3 apps port. there is already a fix for the keyboard FC. the one with the MI6 keyboard FC when using pen input. you need to replace myscript resource manager apps.

btw its the fix for N2 mi6 stock keyboard. if your firmware using the port N3 keyboard. you might want to download the new one which is now on ver 1.8

1) Which hand writing? Screen write?
2) Continuous input not working is a known issue.
3) About the data packer, what rom you using? Only certain rom have that implemented. Its a Dr. Ketan feature.

The network meter is an option in aroma installer. You can disable it in wanam exposed. Just change the position of the clock.

There's a new patch for joeldroid. Check the 3.4.3 changelog. They should fix the keyboard issue already.
