Hey dudes, I have some questions. Any of you know where to do nice binding? Not ordinary left side binding, or those normal comb or wire binding. I need some decorative binding for my book. I haven't come across any nice binding, so when the lecturer told me that, i start scratching my head. And, in InDesign, page 1 is my front cover. Do you think I should create another 2 page format, and copy paste the front cover over? And also the back cover. Hmm... Let's say, page 1 and 2, 3 and 4. I will have to stick them together, right? And continues 5 and 6, 7 and 8. Is the spray mount the only way to stick them properly, any other medium, i afraid I screw up when doing the sticking process. So I don't mind paying extra for the workmanship, rather than paying more for printing. Let me know dudes. Thanks.

What I want to do is, create another 2 page format below page 1, copy and paste the front cover, as well as the back cover.
Yes, my English is horrible.

well, have you tried asking the printer which would be better or how will they print with your file..?
because if your book binding is using staples in the center then of course putting the covers as how you described is better.

it depends on what binding u want. u cant simple arrange the pages as u wish. If you dont have any idea, just stick with 1 page design. If you send for printing, they will advise you or even provides the service to arrange the pages according to your preferred binding method. Just keep things simple.
