Hi guys, I'm new here. Have always used Android so it's time for a change smile.gif

Anyways, what is the meaning of a sim free set?
According to the seller, when Apple Malaysia launches the 5C officially here, I can send it to Apple Malaysia for warranty.
Is that true? icon_question.gif

I am not buying from Apple Malaysia but from a seller on LYN and it's a sim free set.
Obviously it can't be an Apple Malaysia set because it has not even launched officially in Malaysia.
So my sim free set has to be an overseas set but seller claims it can be sent to Apple Malaysia for warranty when it launches officially.
Is that true?

Easy. If he claims it's possible, ask him to do it for you.
Or if he says that's your job, ask him what happens if Apple Malaysia rejects your warranty claim. Will he be liable/not?
Plus make sure he doesn't run away for the next 12 months following your purchase of an iDevice from him (this part would be a challenge) brows.gif

Did you know that when you buy the 5C, certain apps made by Apple is given FREE?
Eg. iPhoto, Pages, etc.
*
The bad news is I already purchased those free apps for my previous iPhone 5.
I highly recommended on the official casing with premium feels and physical outlook. That conclusion is derived based in comparison with my previous China made casing with similar shape and pattern which was a big failure in terms of the physical appearance and material quality.

Ah I see. Good points. Would like to see you post clearer pictures of your casing if possible smile.gif
Am really considering purchasing it. But will have to see it in person at stores before making the ultimate decision.

Any phone shop can do it at RM5 charges, but if is more than two years old sim card, it is highly recommended to get the "nano" sized sim card from the relevant telcos for you to enjoy the LTE connection.

Yeah I agree that you should just change to a new sim.
Can't remember how much it cost. RM30?
Anyway, congrats on being an iPhone 5C user. I think there's like less than 5 users in this entire forum laugh.gif

Just wondering, when the phone officially launches, will the RSP be more expensive than the sim free sets you can get on LYN currently for 1899.

I reckon the highest it'll go will be 1999. Anything more than that and people would rather go for the 5S which I reckon will be between 2199 and 2299.
Regardless of the price, Malaysian prices are still amongst the cheapest in the entire world.
I frickin got my 5C in China for 2399 doh.gif

LOL. Alright thanks dude! Planning to get mine next week rclxms.gif
Enough of Android drool.gif

But I noticed this thread is quite dead compared to the 5S.
Do you think the 5C would be like other Androids in terms of second hand pricing?
Apple products are known to hold their value quite well.
