QUOTE(wind3524 @ Nov 9 2013, 11:08 AM) I use GTG golden tempered glass bought from ebay. The hole is for calling sensor, if you look at your phone closely you will see the oval shape, thats for calling sensor its detecting the light. |

QUOTE(darude87 @ Nov 9 2013, 01:57 PM) when you replaced with tempered glass, do you feel noticeable increase in the thickness? or no difference at all? For me its doesnt feel at all, because i've use normal screen film on the shattered film before. It was like the same, the thickness of the tempered glass(0.3mm thickness) with that 2 films. Or you can try to look for the thinner tempered glass. cause i'm planning to replace the rear anti shattered film, its badly scratched |

QUOTE(wind3524 @ Nov 9 2013, 04:11 PM) But the hole is beside the light sensor and led notification light. I found no sensor on the position of hole. Yes there is a sensor, its hard to look directly, its too dark, you can try to look it from an angle and you will see the line of oval shape. QUOTE(philip42 @ Nov 9 2013, 04:37 PM) lol mine was white, but when i use this case seems more nice in black. i bought it from up town kota damansara for only rm10, i think i was the lucky person, its was dirty in begining, so i told the seller(woman) its look like used item, and she gave me for only RM10. Then i clean it and its shinning like new one. |

QUOTE(wind3524 @ Nov 9 2013, 08:26 PM) Now I know there is a sensor, bought it more than half year and didn't notice it. What the use of the big and the small sensor? Hehe i dont really know the exact function of those sensor, but as i've read the review of the tempered glass making for XZ, all of it will make a hole only on that sensor, and they say its for screen to on/off when make a call. |

QUOTE(joshua963 @ Nov 10 2013, 12:32 AM) Hi buddy, I might be wrong but the cut out hole looks more appropriate for the front cam. Could it be that the tempered glass is installed in a wrong orientation ? From what I understand, the proximity n light sensor won't have any problem issue if covered by a transparent coat. nope, early i was thinking of that too. but then i read the manual, n review from google, they really made a hole for that sensor. yes it is transparent, but with the thickness could bring the light along, when you put to your ears. so they made a hole to make it more sensitive. i think. |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 11 2013, 01:13 PM) my ZL camera now got 1 black spot. got an image for that spot? try to upload. i've got black spot too before. and i send to service centre claim warranty, and they replaced my camera.but its very weird since it doesnt appear on "normal" or "video camera", but appears in every other mode. so guess its no longer a sensor issue but firmware instead. |
