i've got scratch on my shatteredproof XPZ screen, does it void the warranty if i pull it out and replace with another screen protector? I dont really care about the logo, just want my warranty keep safe.

Yes, that one. Because mine already got scratch.

yes, i've pulled it and keep it as nephrite say. and now i've replaced my film with tempered glass.

Nope, i've tested and everything work fine.

maybe they got lot of money to change phone and want to get the latest version. haha

I use GTG golden tempered glass bought from ebay. The hole is for calling sensor, if you look at your phone closely you will see the oval shape, thats for calling sensor its detecting the light.

For me its doesnt feel at all, because i've use normal screen film on the shattered film before. It was like the same, the thickness of the tempered glass(0.3mm thickness) with that 2 films. Or you can try to look for the thinner tempered glass.

Yes there is a sensor, its hard to look directly, its too dark, you can try to look it from an angle and you will see the line of oval shape. here i show you the image.

lol mine was white, but when i use this case seems more nice in black. i bought it from up town kota damansara for only rm10, i think i was the lucky person, its was dirty in begining, so i told the seller(woman) its look like used item, and she gave me for only RM10. Then i clean it and its shinning like new one.

Hehe i dont really know the exact function of those sensor, but as i've read the review of the tempered glass making for XZ, all of it will make a hole only on that sensor, and they say its for screen to on/off when make a call.

using pc companion? Try to use SUS(sony update service). If not mistaken mine also got the same as you when using pc companion.

nope, early i was thinking of that too. but then i read the manual, n review from google, they really made a hole for that sensor. yes it is transparent, but with the thickness could bring the light along, when you put to your ears. so they made a hole to make it more sensitive. i think.

lol mine GTG its round hole, if you buy the SGP brand, they cut off too, but its not round hole, its oval exactly follow the shape of that sensor..

Here i suggest you to follow the step in this site http://xperiafirmware.com/8-firmware/33-sony-xperia-z-c6603 . My xperia mini, cannot update to ics using pc companion or SUS, then i install the update manualy from this site, its work fine with me. Hope this is helping you.

nope, didnt regret because mine got scratch before, then i've replace with tempered glass no more worry of scratching.

and about the sony logo, for me i like it when removed, look nice with plain black screen.

got an image for that spot? try to upload. i've got black spot too before. and i send to service centre claim warranty, and they replaced my camera.
