Right now, better opt for low risks investment I.e fixed deposit, prefer compounded monthly int.

I have been thinking about this idea for quite some time ago, I did not speak it out until
now because it sounds silly and impossible. This is my imagination:

Since we have many FD depositors here, do you guys think it is possible if we run a group
deposit to bargain for a better FD rate with BR or other banks?

After confirm the number of depositors who will participate in this campaign, and also confirm
the total amount of money, then we send one representative to talk to the bank.

To protect our privacy, if we meet in bank office, we do not reveal our user ID to each other.
But we will try not to meet each other.

We also can negotiate with the bank HQ, we say that we have this amount of money to place
FD in their branches nationwide.

Or members in one area can target in one particular branch in that area.

For sensitive and confidential matters, we can use PM to communicate to avoid kidnapping or robbery.

For our safety purpose, new registered Lowyat members (or members below 300 post count) will not be entertained..

Or we select active and trustworthy members to participate this campaign only.

Possible..or impossible?
