Mach HL gives 3.4% for 12 months.

Still accumulating more info as got FD due end sept 13. Will check out Affin as received brochures mentioned 3.88%...

Ambank - 3.55% for 9mnths
Affin - 3.60% for 12mnths

That's good news from mach HL. It show sign the bank need more depositary. Its been quiet since their 4% fd rate. Looking forward. Still holding strong and wait

Wonder Nov got any more attractive than Affin 3.6%. Been holding my banker cheque..if got 3.8% will deposit straight...

My maturing mach HL fd previously 4% coming soon in this march, april and may. And also with current some $$ park in SA..yet waiting for any good rate FD...hunting for at least 4%....I'm preffered direct and simple FD as such mach HL...haikssss....headache everytime fD mature...

Went to mach ask for better rate of my maturing FD, sad to say 3.7% is their best current offer. They told me to wait till my FD mature and normally notification offer will alert me..

Base on my experience with banks for fd renewal, normally banks will send notification by mail that new rate will offer to u. If u do not go to the bank withdraw, then it will auto renew.

My previous fd with mach HL only manage to get umbrella gifts. I do not do online placement, because I want to walk in to request for gifts...

Still nothing new here....Whats new for Mach HL, RHB, SC, Affin and HL?...

Affin: 3.6-3.65 (negotiate for 3.9, due to mach HL is 4% previously, but said hard to meet)

The rate not attractive, may hold on my bankers cheque. Expire 1 FD today. Another due on 11 march and 8april. Maybe april has better rate...

Final affin offer me 3.65/year for 100k. I ask for 3.8 or 3.9, but they said is impossible to meet that rate. But I still hold on for the placement. I placed 1 FD last year Nov @ 3.6/year too, no monthly but just got umbrellas for free gift...


For ambank, must take both to enjoy both rates.

I am working very hard to clear my debt and reach my financial freedom. I already set a target to retire by 40. Guess everyone has the same objectives once reach the benchmark of age range...

RHb islamic rate not bad, not remember correctly is abt 3.7% but not straight forward FD. As I'm not interested, hence not pay much attention when the officer explain to me....

Mach HL officer said today there will no any promotion rate which previous month 3.7 for 6months. Current is @ 3.4 only. The next promotion rate is next new year.
