Hi there, sorry if you guys had watched this, just want to share:
Top Gear GT4 vs. Reality (Laguna Seca)

The interesting part is, first they said that GT4 is unrealistic but then (at 8:06) Jeremy said his not a racing driver and a racing driver CAN achieve the 1:41 lap time shocking.gif
So what u guys think? icon_rolleyes.gif

well....

i. he played GT4 with a controller, not with a wheel.
ii. If you watch carefully, he played with AIDS on.
iii. we dont know what tyre type he choose when he played GT4.
iv. videogames dont simulate the g force and the fear of crashing your cars against the barriers.

so i thats why he himself said its impossible to replicate what he done in videogame.

But actually JC liked GT4. he wrote an article bout GT4 in Daily Telegraph

I am not sure if anyone asked before, about GTHD, during replay, did your car's wheel spin with motion blur? I downloaded a replay video and i can see the wheel motion blur, but for in game, it does not. I am using 720p. Or only when its 1080p, we can see the wheel motion blur?

Gran Turismo 5 Gets Revolutionized On PS3
by Victor Dangelo on 19/06/2007

New details have emerged on Gran Turismo 5 coming from Polyphony Digital and headed to the PS3.

Polyphony Digital has announced that they are going to be bringing a brand way to play Gran Turismo with new in-car viewpoints for the next-gen Gran Turismo 5.

Polyphony made the confirmation at a French motorsports show when they stated that the cars will be in full 3D to digitize it completely. It is going to be absolutely amazing to see the dashboards and interiors of every single car and shows a sign of just how detailed Polyphony is going with the next-gen Gran Turismo as they revolutionize the racer once again.

"To translate the real car into 3D, we use data and assets provided by the car manufacturers, but we also use a scanner that completely digitizes a car," Yamauchi told the show. "Here's a scoop: We're also modeling the dashboards because you can drive from the interior view in the upcoming Gran Turismo 5."

Hopefully we will get even more news at E3 and possibly some information in regards to when this absolute gem will be in our PS3s!

Only now do i understand why there aren't many driving games with inside view. Kudos to Polyphony

because it will consume time to model every cars' interior.

dang..no hong long are we supposed to wait...

erm..lucky blu ray is gigantic...because lets just say gt5 has 700+ cars..(500 if we really take away all those supras, evos, skylines variations)..that means they have to model like 500+ dashboards ..wow..that would certainly tak a LOT of space..

hope the blu tuth wheel will have the horsie logo wink.gif

baru la style

New update at Gran-turismo.com. They added 3 new screens; Sarthe track and 2 new Audi car model - The Audi TT coupe and the Audi R8. And, there's rumour going on that this will be added to GTHD as additional downloadable content; soon.

G25 is very the good one ! tongue.gif the steering wheel is nice and sturdy, but the brake pedal is a bit stiff for me.
