Yes, if for PhD. YOu can jump straight into a PhD in Business Admin without a Master's degree if you have first class honours. But this is not encouraged as most business degree students do not carry out any research projects during their undergraduate days.
Having a 1st class honours is merely one of the prerequisites to be met in order by bypass Masters before proceeding toa PhD. Does not mean that just because you have that you can get it.
And the research thingy is also one major difference between the UK and Australian system. under the Australian system, there's no such thing as honours for a 3 year degree. You'll need to do a 4th honours year (which is open only by invitation) which consist of research work.
