Guys, I've been wanting to get my hands on this phone for awhile now. Been lurking around and I saw a couple of people selling it. Are these sellers trusted? I mean, they got it in here before the official launch. Will there be any issue with their phones? Just wanna hear some opinion from you all.

Hi, can anyone who bought their G2 from Directd confirm if all the accessories are included in it?

You can ask them what's included and I guess they willing to let you check before buy?

*
Well I did pm them to inquire about the set. But they gave me a response that seemed to have come from a bot lol. Told me the price and all but never answer my question as to whether the set comes with all the accessories. sad.gif

I'm getting one as well. Since i got my previous One X from 1G so i'm gonna just trade with them. This is what i asked.

They seem credible from all the comments about them that I've come across. Any problems with your previous purchase? Not really familiar with all these online dealings sweat.gif Just wanted to make sure before going through with a deal to prevent heartache and headache haha.

D802 can change back cover ?? i thought the cover kennot open ??
*
I've seen one user posting on xda saying he's managed to open it. And he also managed to close it back with no noticeable damage.

What i'm curious is, how can d802 support wireless charging? I thought that was only available on one US model only.

I bought the G2 from Directd and the phone included a earphone and USB charger....not sure is it all included because I'm not so particular about accessories. Btw, they sell only D802 international version...

I believed their service should be ok, so far bought a samsung and N4 from them before.
*
Actually I'm just curious if the stuff included is the original thing cause I heard some of them tend to replace/remove the accessories in the AP set.

Does anyone here know any trusted sellers of back body cases for the G2?

On a side note, after going to 1G and DirectD. I'd recommend future purchaser to DirectD. Got it yesterday night @1699 not 1799. 1G customer service is just... ugh.

That's what I thought too. I called them at 5pm yesterday. They told me it was 1799. But when I reached to pick it up they said it was 1699. Not sure what is going on with their pricing. Glad I got mine before the price hike. biggrin.gif

getting from 1G is still good right? it's near to my place so i thought just get it from there.
*
Dropped by yesterday only to find out it was out of stock. And I called half an hour earlier to confirm availability. Apparently they didn't bother checking because the G2 stock is long gone but they still told me it is available. Wouldn't ever go there again. First impression of them ruined. Just my 2 cents.

So long? What is your usage pattern?
*
I went crazy repeating antutu bench for quite a number of times it fell from 95 to 80%. Then 40m of music? Messed with the gps. All the while connected to either data or wifi. Youtube awhile, Snapped 60+ photos. Surfed the net. And I'm pretty sure I whatsapped for a really long time. That was from yesterday night till now. I was testing to see how was the sot time. In reality I wouldn't wake up my phone so frequently.

Does it offer decent protection? Does it peel the sp? Got any picture bro? I'm tempted to get one but honestly, I'm not sure if it's justified for the high price. Much thanks in advance.

It definitely offers good protection. It doesn't peel off the SP. Still have space left between the SP and the case edges (but I guess it depends on big is your SP. I bought mine from Korea via eBay.)

I see if I can take some pictures tonight.

You might consider Mercury Gooseperry TPU case. I got black and white (for my white G2). Protects the phone, less bulk than SGP, looks great! smile.gif

*
How much more extra thickness are we talking about? Maybe increase of 3mm in width of the phone? Was considering mercury case since its cheaper and I used one before.

Thanks for the picture bro. Already ordered my Spigen Slim Armor this morning rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

By the way has anyone rooted and installed custom recovery on their G2? Mind to share which method you guys followed? Lots of users reporting problems with the root on xda so I'm unsure which to follow sleep.gif

Rooted yesterday night. Hands was itching to debloat and all hahaha. I think flashing the recovery through flashify seems easier and has a lower risk of error. Stock has been really good to me. Consistent battery life. Not that tempted to go cm and pa yet. After going custom ROM any improvement to the battery life? @Joseph

Well i don't have much experience with Touch Wiz. Was a Sense guy. Only played with friends' Samsung phones. So i'm simply reiterating what some reviewers say. I guess they were wrong. But i do notice that the Settings page looks similar in Note 3 but at least in G2 you can change it back to List View which i did and not stuck in Tab View.
*
It has never occurred to me that you can put it back to list view in the Settings... Oh god sleep.gif All these times. I've been stuck with the tab view. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif
