your charger has 2 pin instead of 3? yes, if you check your firmware version, it is meant for SG market i think
*
How do you know which country is the set meant for by checking the firmware version? It just states SEA in the info.

I just guessed it is for SG due to Bahasa Melayu's manual

Lol too bad then. Thought there was a way to determine where did my set come from. Though directd did mention their's are hk sets.

Just got close to 8 freaking hours of screen on time with this phone (partly due to my usage pattern) LG should have made all their phones with huge batteries like this. Would've made the whole world a happier place rclxm9.gif

White colored ones look much more attractive in my opinion. Maybe cause I've been using black colored devices for far too long.

Anyways, quick question here. Has anyone of you measure the cpu temperature? How is the temp on idle? Feels like mine is a little more on the warm side all the time...

My Trickster Mod showing 30C battery and 39C cpu temp.

LG use their own IPS display i believe. International D802 of course will get LTE here since we use 1800 & 2600MHz. So far no one sharing LTE speed yet. tongue.gif
*
Trickster registering 43C for cpu on idle... It shouldn't be too much of a problem right? Battery was somewhat higher as well.

On Umobile. Dont think they have LTE. Contemplating as to whether should I switch over to Maxis.

Hopefully everyone get this phone quick, flash some stuffs and share some feedback hehe. Hands so itchy nowadays. Not sure if its even been a week or not already went into bootloops all the time hahaha.

Does interactive governor cause any significant cut down on battery life?

The con is not having the G2 itself..hehe
*
This. This should be the standard response to whoever that asks the cons of this phone. So much win lol rclxms.gif

Flashed custom kernel from xda battery life became less than satisfactory. Reverted back to stock. Somehow I think LG did quite a good job on the software this time round. Though it's only 4.2..

yes i totally agree with that (apart of having some bloatwares)..that is why for normal user dont need to be so "fanatic" with the updates.."oh i want 4.3, i want kitkat 4.4, i want snickers 6.9 etc" use it while at its best..you might change to G3 or S5 next year anyway  tongue.gif
*
Come the time for the new flagship I'll still be sticking with this fella. That's when I'll be eager for updates. Till then I'll let them work out the kinks on CM11. If anyone has a list of bloatwares that are safe for removal that would be great. So all the users can benefit from it.

One things for sure though. If LG keeps up with such quality then they have my money for the next device already hahaha tongue.gif

I went for white as I like to use the phone naked. If black then I will have to face the notorious finger print magnet shining back of g2. Done that with my nexus S last time and it wasn't fun :-( . apart from that the front of the black looks too similar with my galaxy nexus haha

BTW, I recalled  someone mentioned they choose black due to the back pattern. FYI, the white g2 have the pattern also and it actually gives some sort of pearl effect and finger print is not that obvious on white
*
Yup the white actually has a very noticeable pattern on the back. It looks like a cloth? (Or I'm just too obsessed with staring at it). Anyways it does have smudges on it after some time but then you can only tell if you look at it from a certain angle. Would recommend the white one hehe looks much more attractive.

I disliked the thin black frame that shows when the screen is powered on as it is obvious against the white bezel. But then after some time I got used to it lol.

Hi, need some confirmation here. Can you guys look into trickster mod and see the core 1,2,3,4. Are all of them online? Somehow mine only shows core 1 online. The rest are offline.

I use CPU-Z to check. It shows core 0 working and the other 3 is not working. But the results fluctuate. meaning the core 1 2 3 will only work when needed...

The clock speed range from 300Mhz- 2.27GHz.
*
Haha thanks for the prompt response. Yeah I just remembered I can stress the phone to see if the cores work. Apparently watching video while doing something else only uses 2 cores. Pffft. Looks like my usage only requires 1 core at most.

G Flex start preorder at 1088 SGD. Anyone getting? tongue.gif

Saw some review on it. Maybe the next Flex will prove itself worthy of the price tag haha. Like healing itself from drops and serious scratches whistling.gif

Yeah, the self healing is just start of the technology. Maybe G3 will have it too  brows.gif
Yeah, its ridiculously close to G2. Only slightly bigger battery, 3400mah
*
I hope LG does use this tech in all their future flagship. Most likely so right? Impossible they create something new and use it only on the flex lol.
The battery is 3500mAh. Maybe an extra hour or two of power?

i doubt it . the massive 6" screen will just eat all the power  laugh.gif

I think we're looking at similar battery life as the G2 then.
5.2" 1080p vs 6" 720p. Kinda offset itself no? Hahaha my logic tongue.gif

Might wanna try the camera mods in xda. Requires root though. Photo snapping becomes much faster and in my opinion, clear enough.

What is up with the thread jacking for some debate over who copied what hmm.gif

The world is round bros. What goes around comes around. Everybody uses something from somebody at one point of time. If the implementation is good then we the consumer wins no?

For those who care about battery life, i changed the governor to interactive in Trickster and the battery drained like crazy. Might just be me but back to ondemand for further observation. And my red spigen armor has arrivedddd rclxm9.gif

I used the sp that I bought from DirectD. Charged me 15 for that one sp sleep.gif Luckily the spigen case doesn't peel the sp but they did provide an extra piece. I'll keep the extra one first.
