Never tried this, only did the MLT test disable. That settings can make you device less laggy, and better KnockON reaction,  but consumes battery life a bit because the CPU is not throttled. Again this is from other ppl's experience. I'm happy with it off. And since I'm rooted and installed custom rom, it's already smoother anyways.  tongue.gif

BTW, anyone tried this yet? Mind to review more?

Yup. I first started using the LG Keyboard. Before that, I saw my friends using Swype and SwiftKey, both are pretty impressive.

Then I found out about Google Keyboard (the Jelly Bean version), and it was awesome (it can do the same, well almost), and free! You have to download the APK, because it's not available to Malaysia store.

The latest version (Kit Kat) allows you to continue to "swipe" without lifting finger. For example, to continue swiping to the next words, just swipe to space bar, and then the next word.

I think I still prefer the swiping by words. tongue.gif

May I kindly ask what is the MLT test disable work for? Also, what casing do you use? We seldom heard from you. Lolz.
*
Yeah, been pretty busy lately. MLT is like a connection test module for the carrier. I learned that I can be safely turned off to recover your RAM. I tried it, and my available RAM jumped up from 7++ megs to almost 1 gig after reboot. Just try it biggrin.gif

I just use a cheapo TPU casing for now, white color. Really appreciate other fellow users who posted where they bought their casings online, since its stil hard to find one from a physical shop.

personal preference..some ppl prefer rotate the battery, as for lazy me, might as well use the single 3000mah which I cant take it out myself  tongue.gif
*
Ya, but for me its better for u to rotate the batt, for example every few months so u can condition both batteries to work better. Batteries are not like wines, that can get better with age when u keep them...lol tongue.gif

This is interesting. Just saw a MYS (Malaysia) version. Marked as new, and only 5 downloads (6 including me). Launching soon?

Note that it's only 1.92GB vs 1.95GB. Less bloat? I wonder.

Download the MYS KDZ here:
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36

Follow instructions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476

Differences:
1. Maxis 4G APN automatic setup (previously need to setup manually due to proxy issues). This firmware automatically created maxis4g. HKD version created maxis3g.

2. USSD ringtone. On HKD firmware, even after I changed the notification ringtone, USSD menu still gives me the annoying "Life Is Good" ringtone. On MYS firmware, no issue at all.

3. Additional software from Google such as "Play Music", and "Play Books". I didn't use it.

Speed wise, probably the same. If I remember correctly, AnTuTu benchmark score was only 29K. Not that it means anything when it comes to real-world usage.

Wow! Very high risk. Don't dare. I only dare to flash firmware which is from the same model D802. tongue.gif

I'm very happy with my G2 now, not that desperate to get 4.4 Hehe.

Did you turn off the temperature thingy as mention earlier? I dare not to try that one. I notice that the knockon is not really that responsive. Feel like trying that mod.

I did not. For me, it's quite responsive, and I don't really notice any lag.
