QUOTE(ChrisWeiYuan @ Nov 2 2013, 06:15 PM) Wow. How's the sgp slim armor case? I almost get myself one for that one.. currently using nilkin hard casing? The side gripping is quite slippery. Not very good. Hard casing could easily scratch the side of the phone too. The SGP Slim Armor case is really nice. Best protection. But a little bit bulky.Goospery offers the best of both world. Not too much protection, not as bulky as SGP, non-slippery, very nice high quality looking. |

QUOTE(ChrisWeiYuan @ Nov 4 2013, 10:46 PM) Yup. I first started using the LG Keyboard. Before that, I saw my friends using Swype and SwiftKey, both are pretty impressive. Then I found out about Google Keyboard (the Jelly Bean version), and it was awesome (it can do the same, well almost), and free! You have to download the APK, because it's not available to Malaysia store. The latest version (Kit Kat) allows you to continue to "swipe" without lifting finger. For example, to continue swiping to the next words, just swipe to space bar, and then the next word. I think I still prefer the swiping by words. |

QUOTE(willaw @ Nov 5 2013, 08:52 AM) This is interesting. Just saw a MYS (Malaysia) version. Marked as new, and only 5 downloads (6 including me). Launching soon? Note that it's only 1.92GB vs 1.95GB. Less bloat? I wonder. |

QUOTE(sengf @ Nov 5 2013, 04:40 PM) Download the MYS KDZ here:http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36 Follow instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 Differences: 1. Maxis 4G APN automatic setup (previously need to setup manually due to proxy issues). This firmware automatically created maxis4g. HKD version created maxis3g. 2. USSD ringtone. On HKD firmware, even after I changed the notification ringtone, USSD menu still gives me the annoying "Life Is Good" ringtone. On MYS firmware, no issue at all. 3. Additional software from Google such as "Play Music", and "Play Books". I didn't use it. Speed wise, probably the same. If I remember correctly, AnTuTu benchmark score was only 29K. Not that it means anything when it comes to real-world usage. This post has been edited by willaw: Nov 5 2013, 04:59 PM |

QUOTE(ChrisWeiYuan @ Nov 5 2013, 05:54 PM) GOOD NEWS! OMG! this is fantastic! In this case, if the korea set getting first, you guys might as well can flash the phone into korea firmware to get the first hand 4.4? Wow! Very high risk. Don't dare. I only dare to flash firmware which is from the same model D802. I'm very happy with my G2 now, not that desperate to get 4.4 Hehe. |

QUOTE(ChrisWeiYuan @ Nov 5 2013, 06:59 PM) I do realize the international version and korea version is different in terms of Hardware such as battery removable and memory slots expansions. Other than those extra non-needed bloatware, most of them are the same. If i have money and i am willing to do the risk. If you do that, you can say bye bye to your phone. It doesn't work that way. Modem drivers are different. Remember the different LTE band and 3G support? There's no FM radio functionality on F320 either. I felt the slow responsiveness after the installation of many games and apps. >.< Maybe it can be done but you will need to root. Once you root, you can't do OTA update anyway, so it defeats the purpose. It's definitely not like Macbook using Windows OS bro. |

Just download the Box app, and sign-up, you will automatically upgraded to 50GB. still trying to get used to the back power button. i heard that if you registered using ur G2 for dropbox, you can get a premanent 50gb upgrade. anyone know how to do that if I already have an existing dropbox? |

Just want to share my battery usage.
I took my phone off charger at 8am, and it's 11.15pm. So it's about 15 hours usage on battery and now left 30%. Screen-On Time is 4 hours. I use Lux to handle auto-brightness (highly recommended!) I have AutoSync on, GPS on, WiFi on. 2 Gmail accounts synch. Few apps auto-update today. I use it to check email, Whatsapp, FB, Flipboard, listening to music (using stock music player), and web browsing. Overall I'm very happy. |

QUOTE(aimy @ Nov 7 2013, 10:20 AM) I'm interested to but from DirectD as well.. If you do not feel comfortable with AP phone, then by all means just wait for the official. It's perfectly fine. Is your phone OK so far? Coz I'm a little sceptical to buy a product which has not officially launced, huhu. Does the LG G2 has flip cover? Does DirectD give it? Thank you. LG G2 does have official flip cover named "QuickWindow", but it doesn't come together with any local seller's package. It's an expensive item. Found one on eBay selling for over RM200. |

For those who listens to high quality music via USB Dac, LG G2 works with it. Awesome!
