I'm trying to use an Android phone on it's stock condition as possible.

Dont get me wrong, I've once very into rooting and custom ROM flashing once a time. However I feel a good phone should just work as it is, without doing much modification on it AKA stock.

I'm struggle between G2 and Nexus 5 n the only show stopper for G2 is the software update itself. Given the bad record of updating their flagship to latest firmware. If it's on 4.3 I will able to accept , however it's on 4.2.2

Oh , When I say Stock I mean the original state. However I see significant performance improvement when my HTC One upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3. In general the Lock Screen widget works better, especially with Dash Notifier and Dynamic Notification. Thanks to the notification listener enabled on 4.3 together with Google Auto Awesome which works as a nice HTC Zoe replacement

Yea I mean good phone should just work as it is (with software update) and not just good after rooting and custom rom. Just saying~

Overall I can see G2 have very good verdict among a lot forums.

I saw there's international version and Korea version, anybody can highlight to me what's the main difference?

sorry but this doesn't answer my question . almost all smartphone nowadays have glonass support . i mean does G2 have built in offline navigation app such as Nokia Drive / HTC Locations ?

1599 is for 16gb...  They dont have 32 at the moment.  To those who are looking for this phone as per tonight's update as follows:
Sevenmobile -  32gb white only for 1699
Onegadget -  16gb black for 1599 (not sure got white or not)
Directd - 16gb black for 1649 (not sure got white or not)

I'm not going to wait anymore n will grab from sevenmobile

Just got mine from 7mobile just now .. only white 32GB or black 16gb available.. next shipment also dont have 32gb black..(according to them lah..)

depends on which variant you get

international 1 get no sd card slot, non-removable battery and bigger battery capacity

for korean model... got sd card slot, removable battery and small battery capacity and get some extra goodies such as charging dock ,extra battery....lastly a mighty extendable antenna for watching TV

For me, it's not similar at all but function wise almost same.

I like the way LG let you change on screen button.

G2 UI have less bloatware

some just dont agree with it

Got my other half D802 from 7 mobile. Just realized that the brief manual is in BM, Chinese and English which mean it's meant for Malaysia anyway. So wondering why LG is still not officially launching it here.

From my last experiences using a lot of android phones (s1,s2,s3,s4,note 1&2, htc one and many more) this one is one of the best smartphone i had purchased. I simply love it because of superb specs (cpu, gpu, camera), very innovative home and vol button also not to forget awesome zero gap display that almost pop up image shown on it. Thumbs up LG!

How do you know which country is the set meant for by checking the firmware version? It just states SEA in the info.
