1. To get an emotion, give Dr. Shrunk a fruit when Club LOL is open.
2. To get the cafe, you need to have the museum upgraded and talk to Blathers for approximately 7 days before Blathers will request for it.
3. If you plant a bamboo shoot, when it's fully grown, you will see an "X" in the ground. Dig that up to obtain another bamboo shoot!
4. If you get a Giant Clam Shell, 3000 bells, and a song from K.K. Slider and bring it to Cyrus, you can make a music box.
5. If you buy enough coffee from Brewster, you will be able to work for him.
6. Perfect fruit trees will die after the 5th or 6th harvest.

1) At the start of a new day (after 6AM), create a New Character.
2) Use your New Character to run around your town to see where the new villager is placed.
3) If you don't like the new spot, reset the game and repeat step 2 and 3.
4) If the villager is in the spot you are okay with, then go on and set your home, up until you get your TPC, then save and quit.

You're free to delete the new character after that.

Note 1: Take note that if you load your Mayor or any existing character before doing this, it's too late! This is because the game restarts itself at 6AM everyday, and nothing is set into stone yet until you load your major characters. To get around this, you have to create a new character so that nothing would be affected.

Note 2: This tip can also be applied to resetting campsite if you're looking for a particular villager, and the animal in tent is not to your liking/there is no tent.

Note 3: Be careful using this tip, though. It works very well if you got a new Villager from someone else because the incoming Villager is fixed. If you're new to the game/have less than 9 villagers, incoming villagers won't be fixed... for example, let's say while using this tip, you found out your new villager is Beau. You like Beau but you don't like his position, so you reset... Your next villager might not be Beau anymore. ;o

Note 4: The key is to know your move-ins. For normal new move ins, the day after the previous new villager unpacked or someone moved out making max villagers fall below 9. Campers take like 2-3 days before actually moving in. And then, there are the random move-ins from Streetpasses/Visiting Towns.

And yes, it's tested. That's how I got Knox to be Sterling's neighbor.
