Change of mindset will do when playing. You can't do everything in the first week of playing for example. The island will progress slowly on a day per day basis, as you get more buildings to unlock and more stuff to do daily. The same goes for your villagers, more will move in as you play daily.

If you want to progress faster, and if the game allows it, you will need to time travel. Not recommended tho, since it's not the way to play the game.

Preload available since last month already. Playable at 12am EST, midnight US. I think 1pm our time on Friday of the release date.

If buy from JP eShop probably 11am our time Thursday night, not sure. Also no idea if it has English or not, since some games doesn't have English in JP store.

My only concern for new players is that they might not be able to get into the game. It takes a while to get into AC for the first time. Since you are practically building a relationship/getting attached to the villagers and the place you're in.

It's like moving into a new city, because of a new job you got. Not knowing who to socialize with, new environment and atmosphere, and to create new friends. This is the situation the creator of the AC game is when he first worked at Nintendo, and that's what inspired him to make AC.

yeah it's a game that is slow to get into, but damn, the more you play. the more you are attached. And the NPCs do damn good jobs at guilt tripping you too. xD

I played New Leaf the 3DS and i might get New Horizon. I heard that now in multiplayer you can invite people to stay at your island permanently by offering them a house or something and vice versa.

Saw the physical consoles posted on Gaming Gadgets and Impulse Sunway fb already. Very early.

I didn't know it was this early until Thursday, friend from Johor got it in the evening at Impulse.

Also the game was leaked yesterday as well. So if you don't want your AC experience to be ruined by others playing it early, I'd advise to be cautious online. I'm just looking at commercial ads from Nintendo. Didn't even bother to look at PAX gameplay
