QUOTE(sHawTY @ Sep 11 2006, 10:57 PM) Why bother getting an expensive zalman heatsink when you can get a better heatsink for the same price? I've been dreaming to get a Thermalright Ultra 120, but too bad it's not available in Penang.. My advice is, the least you could do is to get yourself a Scythe Ninja... It's not the best, but it's better than those crappy zalman heatsinks... I'm not saying that all zalman heatsinks are bad... The Zalman VGA cooler is good, but the cpu heatsink, nahhh... Don't think so.. If you want the best, go get yourself a Thermalright Ultra 120.. |

1 more question, how does the Ultra 120 perform compared to 90 C which uses copper fins? Will the copper yields advantage and the price differs not much though.

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Oct 3 2006, 08:07 AM) I don't know... The name '3D rocket' turned you off right? That heatsink doesn't look much powerful to me... Doesn't seem promising... No offence, it's just my point of view afterall... Maybe you could tell us the tempereture differences after you've tried it... Don't judge a book by its cover |
