old fox CM832 evolution do have a mesh grille in the bottom part.......

but u adding a exhaust fan should be a problem, ur is 8800GTS rite ? the GC fan is sucking fresh air from inside the casing; exhaust fan deprive ur GC of air so make it worst i supposed....... but making a sucking fan would attact a lot of dust.....so may be u could make a duct to draw in fresh cool air from front of the casing or try a reverse ATX (btx like) arangement like uncle ho does.......

i was having a strange idea while working a friends rig...... thinking may be we can reverse the fan of the GC, suck air from outside instead of inside............hahaha

i'm using reverse ATX installation that why no problem with PSU, u might want to consider that rclxms.gif ........ but my advice, go for regular not so tall and not so wide........and let ur fan run on molex, full blast all the time save u the trouble rclxm9.gif

, but then reverse ATX also not have some of it problem; my 88GTS is having competition with PSU for fresh cool air intake shakehead.gif rclxub.gif doh.gif .......now i wish my PSU is at the bottom.......... but heck doh.gif i believe later on i will have another problem in hand again

i remember sawing that in either mad shrimp.be or some mod website refering to the similar matter u can mount ur fan lower.......

it seems the actual function is to make a bypass air flow to cool the surroundings according to the web experters......

Ninja is kind of good seems from the review......small in size and compact

tuniq is kind of big......almost like thermal right HR-01 or ultra 120.......

but performance wise is superb..... mine HR-01 (no fans) load out at 40oC on hot day (running at 2.88Ghz). Going to try with fan setup....

but really 1 ~ 2 oC really small difference for most people.....

u can see from uncle ho's setup, the heat sink itself not that big, but the fan bracket can hold 2 fan togerther, basically the ram will be cover (in the correct orientation) then u jsut adjust the fan more over to the ram side

anyway TR HR-01 is really tall beware of that, it's good, the LG775 bolt thrud kit fitting is easy and solid too

actaully faster fan with higher CFM would not boost the performance equally.........a sillent fan would do the job nicely already,

u can check out some review on geminII, they change whole bunch of fans and difference is minimal

HR-01 plus............ wah just got mine non plus version less then 3 months ago.........wander how the price goes.....

btw i doubt that extra heat pipe would do a lot of benefit, the fin area are about the same......high speed fan also wont do much help either.....

btw how about thermaltake V1, i have not seen it in lowyat yet.......not coming to malaysia....... the shape is rather bling bling

i think most proberly ur HR-01 mounting got problems ??
mine E6600 is using HR-01 on passive, clock to 2.88 (mild only)......

Idle Temp ~30 at room temperature, no air cond (but i'm not sure whether the DFI mobo software is accurate or not)
Loading 40 orthos, gaming 36+

btw might be the TIM apply not even ?
