QUOTE(akachester @ May 14 2007, 12:05 PM) Ouch, do you mean that he will need to get the extra adapter for Ultra120 just for it to work on Socket 939? i agree with u bro my noctua perform much more better than my old ultra 120 Well, i really love Noctua products.Already got my hands on their fan and NB cooler which both of them impresses me. I know the CPU cooler will also be that way but judging from the price of Ultra120 which is also similar with Noctua, i am torn both ways..lol..Anyway, will look into this matter thoroughly first before making any decision. As of now, it seems that the Noctua would be the best bang for buck with slightly less performance, cheaper and silent.. |

QUOTE(Dovienya @ Aug 2 2007, 11:22 AM) I'm not sure if i have come to the right thread or not, but I have something that worries me at the moment. the crazy cool that u talking about only have with DQ6 version only not with DS3Looking at LYN and round KL, I came to a few air cooler that might post a problem: 9700 LED/NT Thermalright 120X The question that bugged me is that as I'm using gigabyte gigabyte GA-965P-DS3, would the crazy cool be an issue with the backplate for the two AC above? Read around, and I'm even more confuse, as some says that the crazy cool can be removed, while others say that it cant be removed. There are even places that says that it can only be removed if the heatsink/heatpipe for both the northbridge and southbridge is removed as well. Please advice so should be no problem for u to buy it. highly recommend u buy thermalright 120 n if u wan to get at cheap n new u can ask Hwoarang45 since he do bulk of the stuff |
