Hey, welcome to Avenue D'Vogue. I'm staying there.

You bought a unit there or renting?

This has always been my confusion until recently when I moved to Avenue D'Vogue.

They really need to figure out a better structure for name. The way it is they seem to be competing with each other.

Mine's 15. Renting there too - the place is not suitable for permanent stay.

Thanks, been renting there for the past 6 months with my GF. Which floor are you on? Mine's 13.

Mind to share why you think it is not suitable for permanent stay?

Almost all units are studio/1-bedroom.
Commercial rates for water, power.
Virtually no owner-occupiers. 99% are tenants, many of them students (but most are ok) or foreigners. So no stake in upkeep of the building.
Since almost all units are owned by "investors", some rented out to Pak Hitam. Some used for Airbnb - which means strangers in the building, which is bad for security. And a shockingly number of the "investors" are behind in the maintenence fee/sinking fund payments.
Lifts are slow, 1 or 2 often 'out of service', too many users.
