battle between the top 3 mobile shop (based on my ranking) is on-going... directd vs 7mobile vs 1gadget...now it's 1299..

Well..good news for us (potential buyer)..

These sets sold by them, no google play store, gmail, youtube & other google apps?
*
according to them it is playstore ready...
anyway there's a review video in youtube showing how to install playstore for those set without google apps including playstore out of box.. (I believe the sales person will perform this to get the playstore ready for the buyer).

not the same la... nexus 5, no official channel. all came in thru AP
*
Official channel for MI3 not certain yet. We are still not sure which device is coming to malaysia in april, which is probably just Hongmi like what they did for Spore. So MI3 might be month(s) later.

But for those who still have a good phone in hand can always wait la. Save money some more.

fast change because they can't keep stock until original set launch
probably but absolutely not RM1100.  base price for 16gb spec
then they will lost with the shipping cost etc
*
12xx consider good enufff already considering..

Snapdragon 800 phones in the market:

Note 3 LTE - AP 1899
LG G2 LTE - AP 1599
Nexus 5 LTE - AP 1389
Vibe Z 3G/GSM Dual SIM - AP 1359
S4 LTE - AP 1799

Nexus 5 and Vibe Z are the closest competitor. Nexus 5 has a smaller battery (below 3kmah??) while vibe z is a phablet (some users still prefer a phone - 5inch max).

Xiaomi MI3 on the other hand attracts users who love to be different from others....it is rare outside of China, which we can say a LIMITED EDITION phone biggrin.gif
Drawback will be of course no LTE. But yeah, how crucial is LTE with its limited coverage, Office and Home UNIFI the we can use for internet? not sure bout others but for me, it is not that crucial.

im using it now! awesome! Brought it RMB89 (RMB79 +RMB10 shipping) instead from Xiaomi official reseller (Tmall) with ready stock!

on other hand, i have this plan in mind since im flying to SG end of March. Brought AA zero fare long time ago!

Xiaomi Mi3 selling SGD419 (included 7% GST).
Buy Mi3 from Starhub (prepaid package) SGD419 (RM1,110.35) and claims back refund 7% SGD29.33 (assume rate at RM2.65 @ RM77.72), net price = RM1,032.63.

hehe...  icon_rolleyes.gif

IF they have ready stock by end of March. Looking at the Hongmi at the moment, it is tough to predict.
anyway I might be going there as well 2nd week of April.

Wonder how much those top 3 shops will sell their AP MI3 by end of march/ early april icon_idea.gif

if official Xiaomi Malaysia is selling at 11xx, they will have no choic but to go lower than their base price, rather than not being able to clear their stocks.

that's my ideal thinking / plan.
not yet take into any unusual incidents.
just pray hard then.
really? i yet to find out the details. Buying from telco should be able to get on the spot right? (unless Xiaomi have unusual arrangement with telco)
*
if other brand, I am agree with you. But Xiaomi? I dun think so. well known for their limited stock.

Nothing wrong with the phone it's my own problem. Like to change phone every few days wink.gif

Combination of iPhone"s simplicity + Lumia's design...in fact i'll prefer Mi3 than Nexus 5 anytime.
