urm.. which part is the transparent PNG..?

the original script was written in 2002.. hehe.. i peeked at the JS. tongue.gif

anyway, one of the concerns of website standards today is the 'IF' what will happen when a viewer doesn't have a certain function required for a feature.

in this case, I noticed that the JS is not really DOM driven. If you turned off the Javascript, the menu doesn't dropdown. I understand it's highly unlikely that anyone turns off JS but having a foolprrof DOM is what it's about nowadays.

have you tried AListApart's dropdown menu tutorial? smile.gif

cheers.

the original script is very short and simple, i just enhance it and added transparent png (try products > agriculture > blower )
IE < 7 does nt suport transparent png, must use javascript to fix this problem.
i combine alot of script to work out this menu, of cause some modification

from the research, only 5 - 10 % of user will purposely disable java script and the major reason behind it is for the security purpose.

lol.. using Firefox.. just look into the source.. see the path.. then copy and paste and Firefox will display the JS in the browser. same goes with CSS files oso. smile.gif

but I've got the Web Developer extension in place so it's easier abit. tongue.gif

(the menu is at the bottom)

submenus of the product and services have gone to nowhere.....
have to do something..... >.<

edit~
omg... I've lost the ftp password... cannot do any change...
no idea, have to leave it like this... rclxub.gif

Hmmm.... even if a script couldn't work with certain browser, it must have an alternative... you might have to make 2 version of them, but... to make it cool, what's the choice? tongue.gif

hehe... thanks, but the design is not done by me... tongue.gif
well the texts are hard to read too... I thought the design is cool before, but after some years of experience only I realize that this is not a good design, especially as a commercial website, it should not be like this... smile.gif

IE and Firefox might be the browsers most prefered by PC users..

but you have to take note that Safari has still a substantial amount of browser-shares when it comes to Apple. smile.gif

sigh.. i want my MacBook.

cheers.
