urm.. which part is the transparent PNG..? the original script was written in 2002.. hehe.. i peeked at the JS. anyway, one of the concerns of website standards today is the 'IF' what will happen when a viewer doesn't have a certain function required for a feature. in this case, I noticed that the JS is not really DOM driven. If you turned off the Javascript, the menu doesn't dropdown. I understand it's highly unlikely that anyone turns off JS but having a foolprrof DOM is what it's about nowadays. have you tried AListApart's dropdown menu tutorial? cheers.

lol.. using Firefox.. just look into the source.. see the path.. then copy and paste and Firefox will display the JS in the browser. same goes with CSS files oso. but I've got the Web Developer extension in place so it's easier abit.

IE and Firefox might be the browsers most prefered by PC users.. but you have to take note that Safari has still a substantial amount of browser-shares when it comes to Apple. sigh.. i want my MacBook. cheers.
