QUOTE(Seng89 @ Oct 21 2013, 12:03 PM) Just went to kelana Jaya sc. The technician informed that some devices need to change the motherboard with camera module only can fix the camera issued. Why didnt you relock the bootloader first? For my case, due to unlock bootloader and my bootloader is s-off status. they said my warranty are void although the defect was hardware problem. The motherboard cost rm 6xx!! |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Oct 24 2013, 01:39 PM) It's best you post a screenshot here as it seem the boot loader has been relocked and quite possibly the unlock boot loader procedure was done using the htcdev method which means you may have a hard time with the monkeys at HTC SC to change the camera or parts |

Looks like you are S-ON as stated from the picture posted its very likely that the root was done using the htcdev method and the warranty is void
Suggestion is go for tribunal and insist that nothing is wrong with the set apart from the sh*tty camera module and that the manufacturer was negligent in ensuring that proper testing was done for functional camera prior to selling to market - say also that this PHENOMENON is prevalent in practically 7 out of 10 HTC One worldwide and while other countries provide a simple fix or replace procedure only the monkeys in HTC Malaysia and their blockhead policy differ in their support |

It doesn't matter - rooting is a software procedure this is a hardware FAILURE

I am actually trying my best to ruin the camera myself by making it scalding hot and continuously running Antutu Benchmark which heats up the devise scalding hot.
Once camera is ruined I will head on to HTC and screw them low kow |

What a dumba$$ answer from CHRIIIIIIIIIS
It MAY void warranty it does NOT say it VOIDS warranty - can we all group together to file for tribunal? I am sure HTC worldwide would like to hear of this and we post to forums all over the world It will definitely make big news |

As for me I have no issues returning it for warranty since it's already S-OFF and can easily revert to stock

From the email it already states that they will replace the camera module so they have no freaking business meddling with your motherboard to begin with
