I was thinking of giving my mom my XZU after using it for sometimes and keep my XZ for myself but then I fell in love already with XZU big screen. Now I'm not sure whether to give my mother my XZ instead. But it's easier to bring XZ in my pocket. And now I'm already poisoned by Z1 camera features lol @.@

If only they put in a flash to the camera......sigh..

And to say XZU is full of bugs is exaggerated.. I have experience more bugs than this in other phone before.. Even the bugs exists on xzu Now didn't even bother me.. If u know cannot un-tick optimise Backlight, do not un-tick la for the moment. So hard?

Exactly, same case here, I need can't be talking for hours to my girlfriend on my XZU as we talk very long so I need to get something a little bit smaller so that I can feel comfortable talking for a long period of time.

Andrew_1980 is saying that he wants to get a smaller phone as a spare for calling and outing usage so he needs the smaller phone as a spare or secondary. Why say downgrading? Its the wrong term that you're using. He merely needs a second smaller phone and also as he said, he's at home more than he goes out, so that means he'll be using the XZU more than his smaller, secondary phone which means that the XZU is still his primary device and the smaller phone is merely needed a secondary device not a full downgrade which means selling XZU and buying a smaller phone.
