how do i set my icon name to follow my wall paper color

i can select all the names to follow jus 1 set of colors but if my wall paper were to have multiple shades how do i do it??


eg i want to set the background for the name 'my comp' to follow my wall paper color
cause atm it has a black background for the name of the icon

pls help if any1 can understand my prob

Simple:

Control Panel > System Properties > Advanced tab > Settings in Performance section > Turn on the Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop

Advanced:

D-Color XP, change the appearance of the desktop icon text foreground and background colors, change the view of your desktop icons from Large, Small, and Tile view icons

Making a Transparents Background for Desktop Icons.

By default, Windows XP, can have a transparent background for desktop icons.

System Properties (Win+Pause) > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Visual Effects > enable Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop

But, if you disable this you can change the text color and background. For this you need D Colour-XP. Install it, click on a monitor icon in system tray and you'll get this:
