U Apply 1 CC (One Classic) Only...???

They give Me 2 CC 1 Plat. & 1 Lady Plat.
Few Days ago, I Request to Cancel the Lady Card coz I Seldom Used It
Their CC Dept. Call Back have Offered 2 Years + Another 3 Years AF Waiver + 1 Year GST Waiver to Me so that I will Retain the Card...

Yes, I applied UOB ONE Classic. The physical card is not with me. It's at my hometown. My brother told me.

By the way, how they guarantee this "2 Years + Another 3 Years AF Waiver + 1 Year GST Waiver"? Any B&W sent to you?

Nope... No B&W, but the Staff said I Can Call him Back If They Have charge Me GST or AF on 2014... so ask me to Keep His Phone no. in Case

their annual fees is very easy waive, RM50 cash back for first time applicant upon meeting some conditions. i think such info can be found at their website

Even though cannot reach RM 36k p.a. for UOB ONE Platinum?

GST they may not waive for you but annual fees is very waive. once you say you want to cancel, they will offer you 5 years waiver without condition.

the above happened a year ago. i even applied a second UOB card also got the RM50 welcome cash back then i cancelled my UOB One Card, they offered me RM50 GST waiver asking me to keep the card, i rejected it too since i don't use it

The AF is a major drawback and this might prompt users to give this card a miss. If the AF can be waived easily, they should just remove it. Sometimes I wonder why these banks wanna make their lives difficult. Seriously, how many will actually spend 36k on this card?

received my UOB card 2 weeks ago and used it to pay booking fee for my house.. I get RM16k limit, which in my opinion is over kill..

How you understand the scheme works? It is not as direct as OCBC Ti but certain categories have spending cap limit in order to limit the cash rebate.
