i just called to confirm with uob CS about the 5% petrol cash rebate 900k limit.
if 900k rebate was already given out in feb, we will have to wait until the first of march to get the rebate again.

now is already 16th feb, i wonder if they have already paid 900k rebate to customers or not... it makes me considering to use another credit card when pumping petrol this month or not... @_@

i received this sms too. but i'm not going to do it bcs they still owe me 10% grocery rebate!
this time some more need to reply to 66300 so much hassle.

i have one end month petrol transaction not receiving the 5% too, although it has been posted in the same statement. i think uob allocation for petrol finished before the end of the month. 

but at least still receive the smart$ 5% because i think there is no allocation the smart$. 

hey there i just called up CS and he told me that the 900k myr capped is for the smart cash bhp. other petrol station no quota of 900k. is this true?  checked my statement last month, dapat all the 5%.

hey guys, wanna ask something, the UOB One card, they told me can rebate back the gov tax but I have to pay first. I saw it in the first bill, and the follow month's bill I didnt see them credit back to me.

so do I need to call the bank and ask them credit back to me? Or I have to wait for 3 months?

so you must have spent rm500+rm500 on the first day of two different promo week. for me, was rm500+rm300. yeah, I'm considering to cancel too. i dislike fake promises. it's like cheating us to use their cc but in the end they don't give us the reward as promised.

different banks have their own methods to calculate the risk of approving loan/cc to you. so there's no exact formula to know your total capacity. if assume that you can borrow up to rm300k, so 5 cc with rm20k credit limit each will have taken one third of it. so you were left with only rm200k for house & car loans.

argh, i was just slightly late to cancel it!!! both gst (rm50) and annual fee (rm168) just being charged! annual fee waiver will need to call back after 3 working days whether approved or not. but gst must be paid.   

If I were you, I would get Citibank Cash Back Platinum. It's a good card and give you total RM50 cashback for petrol. No limit internationally, just limit for individual users. DEFINITELY a better card. Moreover, it's cash back items are more than UOB card. It's definitely a better card in my opinion.

If you only pump petrols on weekends and not weekdays, and more of your expenses are weekend-based, i would recommend Maybank 2 Cards Gold. It gives you 5% cashback on all retail (including petrol) transactions on every weekends plus 5x Treatpoints. A very good card if you're a weekend spender.
