Just want to inform you guys to check on your latest statement. I pump petrol on the 1st and 12th. And the one on the 12th is given rebate but not the 1st (for April month).

I will call the CS to confirm. I pump RM40 on 1st and RM64 on 12th and given RM3.20 which is exactly the 5% amount for the 12th.

Bugger just called the CS and was inform that my RM3.20 is the rebate given on the first and partial from my second pump. Dafuq? you're telling me pumping half way on the 12th the quota is up? Utter nonsense man. Freaking cheat man and people here mentioning they gotten the rebate for their transaction after mine.

1. Such coincidence Rm3.20 is the 5% of Rm64 which I did the transaction on the 12th?
2. 12 is still consider early for the month
3. There is people here that gotten the rebate for transaction after mine.

I'm canceling this card after clearing my statement. You are officially blacklisted from my choice of cards no matter what card you launching in future.

yes, I was strongly enforcing the point that I had friends after 12th still getting the rebate. The CS just brush it off saying it's generated by system blah blah blah

Update on this : send them a feedback form from their website and they acknowledge that indeed there is some problem with the system on the 1st hence unable to capture the transaction.

But they can only rebate back on the next statement and I told them I intend to cancel my card after this incident and GST coming soon (end of the month). So the CS check for me on the retention team and told me that GST can be offset if I perform min 3 transactions 30 days from this day.

Wow, 12 months? I thought normally is 6 months.

How sure are you that the petrol rebate comes from 30th June one and not 17th July one?

Mine 14th already stopped gonna stop using it and just concentrate my petrol purchase on weekend using Maybank2kard instead

When's the last transaction that you got your rebate? I got feeling they start to cheat more and more people by bringing forward the cut off date.

Used to be around mid of the month quota only finish, now might even finished by 10th or so. If not because I still have some smartcash inside the card, I wouldn't bother to keep it. Even then will cut it before May next year when GST comes in, unless GST abolish then might consider. But then annual fees might not be waived.

Thankfully I pumped on 13th and managed to get the rebate.
