dude you need some sort of licensing agreement between you and ms... the consoles that you buy are for non-commercial use only.. same thing with the games.. .. ms malaysia doesn't deal with the licensing of the consoles and the games so you might need to shoot off an email overseas....

since MS never license the console and games in malaysia, doesn't that mean they cannot take any action what you do with the console and games?

maybe but look at the situation with Blizzard, Vivendi and EA games, there are 3rd parties here holding the commercial usage rights to their titles.

the third party holding the commercial right for those company are the distributor of the game rite? and for PC games only i presume? but i don't think for xbox there's any third party distributor yet.

anyway, if one want to get license for operating xbox in CC, lets say you contact MS USA (since MS Malaysia didn't deal with xbox license), do they know what's the law in Malaysia for operating gaming machine in CC?

but i think contact them and see whats the response wil be the best solution. and get a lawyer advise.

In Korea, besides PC-bang (PC room, or as we call it, cyber cafes), PS2-bang and xbox-bang are very popular and are dedicated console gaming centres with large screen LCDs, smoke-free environment, nice comfty sofas, and fully equipped with mock-up racing cockpits, force feedback wheels, guns, swords, eye-toys, and every other imaginable peripheral. They provide memory cards (belongs to centre) and as a registered member they will assign you with your own memory card which u cannot take it out of the centre.

If I remember correctly, it cost about KRW2,000 per hour (that's about RM6.50 currently).
