Any of you received news about the launching of ASB 2?

I heard from one of my friend who is one of the SUPP member, telling me that the ASB 2 is actually going to be opened to all race because my friend who is a chinese is invited to hear about it..

The launching was sometime between 10 October - 20 October 2013.. The launching was in a hotel; but limited invitation to only a few people only..

A bit shy to come here lately after withdraw a huge amount of money from ASB for my family. And few some for myself

today i went.. say no allocation.

is it when got allocation only i can open up an account ? 

tried at 11am today

the post office was so crowded with 2 functional counters

i asked for rm4k
the officer tried and said...unit india habis dilanggang
i asked whether can try rm1k, he said...not...already habis...
looks like not easy to get...

i was not about to even create account 

but i think the post office staff will not be so happy to layan. Like today was a different man... like not keen to do the checking  compared to the lady yesterday. Even i also no mood to go back in afternoon

I am newbie for ASM.

Just curious. One only can buy when government launch new fund right? That means now I have the money, can I buy any? Where can I buy?

I do not have any existing account for any ASNB product. That means I have to wait? Anyone knows when they issue new unit? So far I know everytime they issue also need to queue very very long.

Got one FD due and went to try my luck for AS1M, ASW2020 & ASM.

Not a single unit available. Tough luck.

hi, i having ASW2020 but never top up anything since i open it. i not sure whether it has been answer here. but then i have 3 questions:

1. When i walk to the bank for additional investment in to ASW2020, what should i tell the teller? did you all investment according to the amount available or u all just stated a amount e.g RM1000, then the teller see how much will be successfully invested? Tell them how much u want to top up

2. Did the CIMB click will stated immediately once there is someone sell off their unit in ASW2020? Nope

3. If a relative want to sell off their unit in ASW can they transfer to my account or they just need to sell it off at the bank? Sell @ the bank

I believe investment shall be by extra cash available to avoid any cash flow problems during turbulence ( which is expected in coming years)

I think in upcoming Budget 2014, gomen would announce something. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe sukuk simpanan, new UT fund or just ASB 2 additional details
