Sorry to bother but I have a few questions to ask
1) The MSI service center is located approximately where in Low Yat? 2) My GE60 20E's back does not have any stickers asides from the warranty void if tampered with sticker, any advice on this? 3) Approximately how long would it take for them to diagnose and fix up my laptop? |

Thanks for the fast reply, as for whats wrong with my laptop. It just randomly lags during usage, such as when watching stream or listening to music on spotify. I assume its a multitasking problem?
You can move the cursor but any input from the point of lag, will only apply after the lag. I usually just afk until the lag is over ( force power off not good for laptop right) P.S: How they know if its under warranty then? This post has been edited by DarknessinKL: Sep 18 2013, 09:47 PM |

I'm not too sure, but most of the lag incidences does have flash running one way or another if I recall correctly.
I have never upgraded anything in it. Its the one with the GTX 765. It just started happening a day or two after purchase ( I don't think installing Skype, flying spaghetti monster etc has an effect?) Definitely not the internet speed problem as well. Runs fine on my old Sony Vaio. As for browsers, this problem can occur on both chrome and firefox so I guess its not really them being a problem |

Will most likely send it in ASAP, hope it gets resolved soon.
Thanks for all the help guys. Note: I've always uninstalled that Norton nonsense anyway |

Wanted to ask, anyone know how to solve the MSI GE60-20E keyboard not lighting up when I push the keyboard light button?
The fan button works fine and I can type fine, just that the lights for keyboard won't turn on. |

QUOTE(zaicon @ Dec 7 2013, 08:37 PM) You just bought it? or does it occur recently? Anyways, not sure on how to solve it, perhaps your option is to send it for warranty. Sadly I guess that's the only option again.... bought this thing approximately 4 months ago, its been with the service center for about 2 months, (first sent in and it stayed for a week, then the recent sent in, it's stayed for 1 month and about 3 weeks). Really fed up with this. Paid so much and the bloody thing is in the SC more than its around me. LOL can ever wonder if its my laptop or SC's laptop.Hopefully, its just something not connected from keyboard to motherboard or some other minor 5 minute issue. Otherwise I think this qualifies as negligence based on what I know about law |

QUOTE(zaicon @ Dec 8 2013, 03:23 PM) Ouch. It's weird considering that the GE60 would have K/B backlit issue as I can't find any of the problem nor the solution on the web. It would probably take time, since the SS K/B is expensive to replace.(Not sure about the blue-only backlit, but the multicolor SS K/B costs Rm588) Hopefully they don't take another month or two, I simply just don't have the time. Even if I did, I doubt I have the patience for another month or two. Well hopefully its something not connected/not properly attached to motherboard. Otherwise they'll take their own time again. Last time I told them its the hard drive issue, they decided its the RAM, Motherboard. Then apparently I was right and they changed that as well, using the 2 months. I think I'll insist they check the connections on MB on the spot tomorrow. They wasted enough of my time. Well guess I'll find out tomorrow what nonsense they want to do tomorrow. Who knows? They may impress me and say they ngam ngam got spares and change all within the hour |
