Anybody here change to F2FS file format?

It was god awfully laggy after 1.5 half years of use . I never did the wipe cache thing etc, and stayed stock since my wife use it most of the time. Not sure whether I just did the full wipe/clear cache trick that sped it back up like original, but so far so good since I change to that all-F2FS thing.

Happened to me a week ago. Charge, press this and that button for 30 secs bla2, doesn't work.

Google a bit, and read that some people had the same problems. Solution is to open the back cover, unplug the battery wire, and plug it back in. It worked for me. Hope you have the same luck.

It can be scary to open stuff up, but it's simple although it can take a while to open up the back cover. Use thin plastic/unused card or something.

Unplug the cable(yellow, white, red black) and plug it back in.

Same thing happening to mine. Sometimes its fast, sometimes its very slow. Check the battery page it shows charging (AC) but still slow. No idea what happened.

I think my speaker just kong. Too much Upin and Ipin sessions at full volume.
At first the sound 'pecah2' a bit, now totally no more sound coming out. I prefer to use my phone to surf and whatnot since holding it while lying down on the couch get really uncomfortable after a while. My daughter hijacked it whenever she sees it..the main reason the speakers kong. huhu.

It's a really good tablet still. Just that it will 'lag' really badly after a while. You have to went into recovery to delete the cache and dalvik thing to make it speedy again like you first bought it. But the lag will come back. Just have to use that trick to speed it up again.

If you can top up a bit, try getting the 2013 version. Last longer on charge and don't have the slowdown issues the 2012's have.

As for the slowdowns on 2012's version, try clearing cache and dalvik. That would fix it for a while before it starts crawling again. Its torture if you're using the table while the playstore update apps in the background when that happens. If you're familiar with rooting and stuff, try using F2FS format. I did on mine, and the slowdowns goes away.

It's still a very good tablet. Not sure about gaming since I only play COC, but for everything else it does the job well enough even now.



Mine can't goncang too hard. Else the tablet will turn itself off and I have to open the back cover, unplug some of the wires inside and plug in them back in. After that try to turn it back on and pray, if it works that it would stay that way while I attach back the back cover. It's really a pain. Speaker is gone..no sound. Any idea how much to fix the speakers if I send to Asus?
