Hi guys, I am interested in fruit plucking job in Australia/New Zealand. I heard that we will get paid $15-20 an hour and allowed to work from 40-48 hours a week. Anyone here has experience to explain to me the details and qualification to work in this field?
1) How long am I allowed to stay in Australia, how long will my visa allows me to stay?
2) How much do I have to pay for said visa?
3) How much do I normally get?
4) Is accommodation, transport and food supplied by the farm owner?
5) What are the qualifications to work in this field?
6) How many hours exactly can I work for a day and a week?
7) Where should I apply this job?
8) At which month can I start working?
Anyone can pm me details of this job?

Why people would think fruit picking in Australia is better and high pay? $15 is the maximum you can get in fruit picking and $10 per hour is the average. Is only about 6 hours job so you will probably get $60 per day.
Also, are you getting a working visa or work with tourist visa?

Pay Scale usually between $13.50 to over $20 an hour. Often you will be paid on a piece rate system. The more you pick the more you make. They provide a place to stay and give food 3 times a day. a friend of mine work there for 6 months. He work 7 hours per day and can average $140. I wanted to try like him because he always travel with visa with work permit around the world by working in NZ, Aussie, Europes.

For example, my friend was working as picking mushroom and getting paid about $13 per hour cash on hand. Stay in the caravan(free) but food is not free. Good if you have working holiday visa where you can earn and have fun at the same time.

Money is decent...initially. Would you like to be stuck in a job that has no prospect in Malaysia whatsoever? I hope you're not looking at this for the long term - if it's a part time, work-while-holidaying thing, I guess it'll be a good life experience. Life for a picker-packer there is not as easy as you might think. Make sure you've done your research properly before you make the decision. Do look into labour laws, minimum remuneration rates, temporary residency application, cost of living and so on.

I believe the visa that you are referring to is the Working Holiday Visa. Speaking on the Australian one: 1) How long am I allowed to stay in Australia, how long will my visa allows me to stay? 1year from the date of your first entry into Australia.
2) How much do I have to pay for said visa? The visa application fee itself is RM1200. In order to get the supporting documents, you'll need to fork out around RM50 to get your documents certified, certificate of good conduct RM20, proof of English (either get your college/university to say that you have completed your degree in English) or pay RM600 to sit for IELTS.
3) How much do I normally get? not sure.
4) Is accommodation, transport and food supplied by the farm owner? not sure.
5) What are the qualifications to work in this field? Have perfectly working limbs ?
6) How many hours exactly can I work for a day and a week? not sure.
7) Where should I apply this job? not sure.
8) At which month can I start working? not sure.

You aren't going to make a career from picking fruits in Australia/New Zealand. In any case, I do have friends who's gone do it but that's only for a temporary period. And he's doing it only to ensure he's got $ to finance his one-year away.
Minimum wage in Australia is about A$16/hour so I guess you can safely say that you'll be paid A$16 in Australia. I don't know about New Zealand though.
There's a one-year-work-visa/permit (or 6 or 9 months, can't remember) that U can apply for New Zealand. There are certain criterias in which you have to meet; one of which is that you need to be below the age of 30.
