Are there any other players for FFXIV using UNIFI having latency issues since last night?

Same case here, been looking around the net for solutions for hours now with no results. Called TM and ended up with "there is no problem with your connection.", totally feel like banging my head against the wall now since my main is stuck at leviathan server with severe lag issue.

Well, sorry for not following your lowyat FFXIV threads.

But ugh, I called them up earlier and they said they're looking into some problem related to connections to China and youtube vids online (It's probably unrelated), but idk how they run the lines overseas anyway.

if its Canada, Montreal then i understand since that is where the NA/EU servers are located at. grrr, world transfer is not comin until mid of sept and if im not playing it will be a waste of money since the sub has started counting now.

same here. playing US server lag since yesterday night.

the odd thing is the chat has no lag at all, i guess that's hosted in another server elsewhere.

Maxis Fiber here (UniFi backbone) no lag yesterday.

got few lag ...bout an hour or so..yesterday. back to normal after that

Nope. 10MB user here. Everything is smooth sailing for me so far. Playing it on JP Server.

sadaharukouya, are you using the 20mb package or within the area of serdang?

Apparently the lag only happens to the players who play on NA servers. i tried creating a new character on JP server and its smooth as silk, zero lag.

im using 5mbs package and i live at ampang

Yep, I'm on the NA server too... so I guess it's all around then, not specific to location.

Yes that is why i recommend playing in JP server... ><

Reason I'm on the NA was because of oversea friends anyway.

well then, get a VPN!

and i was because the community...thought the jp servers going to be silent as hell or full of japanese words.

but now i dont care if i have to play in a ghost town as long there is no freaking 3-4 secs delay!
