i mention 109765 times d...

DONT USE THE WORD GT GT ... ES what so ever sheet ...
spec can be ANY... the word define it is juz for marketing purpose..

for instance.... in Singapore.. there are Lancer EX (4B11) .. even with drum brakes... so dun fucuking bother WHAT SPEC...

MALAYSIA LANCER GT spec .. suck kok one ... dun even have ASC ..

US GT .. much better spec .. not to mention Aussie VR (GT) .. also have diff spec ..

Thailand GT have projector headlight .. have AFS .. have KOS .. but no ASC .. diff country diff spec .. its depends on what they wanna market ..

A simple example ...

if u sell TWO lancer in malaysia ..

Lancer GT 1 ..
ASC , 16" , no bodykit ,

VS

Lancer GT 2 ..
NO ASC , 18" , BODYKIT ..

You tell me which one sell better..

QUOTE(mercury99 @ Sep 21 2013, 09:58 PM)
it's not easy to find the size of stock rotors with 16" rims. the lancer service manual doesnt make sense because it says the rear rotors are bigger than the front for wheels with 16" rims.

your example is invalid, i dont even know the size of stock rotors.

you sound very smart, so lets see if you can find the size of our stock rotors thru google. good luck.
this is not hostile, he was giving an answer to a question i didn't ask lol but thanks anyway
*
what invalid...so what if u know the size.....it stated in the manual that rear is bigger in BLACK n WHITE...but when u look at it...it's smaller....so how ?
i tell you nicely u duwan listed.....go to the shop ask them bring out the disc and compare lah....... doh.gif

QUOTE(mercury99 @ Sep 21 2013, 10:00 PM)
thanks for providing the explanation  thumbup.gif
what to do, some men have periods
*
i said the same thing minus the explanation......u marah saya...thankew dia.....ask u go study u duwan...wait ppl give you answer....= cheating lah tu.... doh.gif

QUOTE(mercury99 @ Sep 21 2013, 10:18 PM)
nothing wrong with asking, it's not a common question. and the answer can't be easily found. if it can be easily found, i wouldn't be asking here.

with all due respect, i dont ask many questions here because i can find the answers elsewhere. when was the last time i asked a question in this forum? so here i was, asking an innocent question but yea look at the replies i got. with all due respect again to everyone, if you dont know the answer, you don't have to flame yea. unless you're the instigator type
*
who's flamming ??? hmm.gif

QUOTE(mercury99 @ Sep 21 2013, 10:27 PM)
hmm just stewpik's.. though idk what i did. dont even rmb the last time replying to him here
i dont hv the inspira service manual. the 08 lancer service manual that i have says 222 front and 226 rear for 16" wheels. doesn't make sense for OUR inspira.
*
how can it not make sense for our inspira...when it's the same damn thing...... doh.gif doh.gif ...as Williamhoo said...use some commonsense la........

tongue.gif...and u say i treat u like a child..... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

if you must know, some sellers just tell me the size of the rotors but they don't know if it's the same size as stock rotors. THEREFORE HENCE SO IN CONCLUSION, i wanted to know the size of the stock rotors BECAUSE i want to buy bigger ones. and please dont reply asking me to go to the shop to compare the size vs stock. it's plain stewpik, only bodo ppl will do that no offense rclxub.gif

if i know the size, i'd know the numbers duh (or vice versa).

if i wanna buy a BIGGER car, i'd get the dimensions of my present car vs the dimensions of the other car to compare right? is the mazda3 or inspira bigger? how do you know one is bigger or smaller than the other? would you drive to the mazda showroom and park your inspira beside the mazda3 to compare which looks bigger? maybe you'd do that, but i'd just refer to the website because the numbers are there.

i saw that. just dont know why they have 2 versions. if you refer to your screenshot, the SE version doesn't have the brake drum but has the same rear rotor size
