Wheel cylinder is not covered under warranty, no?

Anyway, previously my car got that 'besi' sound when wanna brake. 'singgggggg singgggg' like that. but after they changed the wheel cylinder + brake shoes. thanks god the sound that i've been thru for the 1 years gone already. At first I thought the rotor need to be skim, but the refuse to do because when they checked it's still okay, no scratches etc. but when check the brake shoes, the right side so thin already. lucky don't kacau the brake drum.

Oh ya, brake drum covered by warranty or not? I want to argue with them, because that wheel cylinder is the cause of the brake shoes rosak. I've changed the wheel cylinder twice already. so fast rosak.

most typical cough syrups are for relief, they don't really cure. your body immune system will do the job.

that doesn't mean one shouldn't take cough syrups though since they taste good

Other than engine and tranny is 3 years warranty, the rest of the accessories if not mistaken are 20k km or 1 year only. So, I assume your car is within 1 year old, but still you hit 40k km. What do you want to claim? The brake cylinder can't be help. It's like that geh, due to enclosure drumbrake dust unable to expel from the hub, hence the brake cylinder actuates, the shaft retraction may draw dust into the cylinder. Sooner later the damn thing will be stuck due to excessive of dust infiltrated the cylinder and mixed with brake fluid inside

I assume your car not FLX. Coz if you're FLX, other than always having a jammed cylinder, you're suffering from having a oval shaped drum brake as well Drum itself Plotong as usual only offer if not mistaken 1 year/20k km whichever come 1st. HOWEVER, I heard owner directly go komplen SAPURA and got a replacement there. Rumor nia, I not sure how true that is. But since already pay money, might as well fight to death~!

FYI, ayam not a warranty guy. It's safe to wait a little until the weekend is over then some bugger will answer you properly. I don't buy new car. Even my dad bought a new car, I took his car out service at my own magician. Warranty is just another fancy affiliate program that force new car buyer to pay extra on every service for the next 3 years. And look at yourself, aint you paying for the brakes?!

The truth is, new car doesn't use carburetor. People get fat, people get old, so who put an expectation of a guy to always looks as if he's in his mid 30s? This is the person I respect. The super brain power in the movie that sells his character like a hot cake for decades, and may be centuries for the matter. He was once the most important part of my life. I literally eating TV dinner every Monday night. Make a cart out of old storage boxes & crashes on downhill as I forgot to make brakes, set a pine tree on fire in Fraser's Hill just to confirm pine cone can emit gun fire sound.

My take?
All he had done in those shows were based on sound scientific & various principles...
However, the results/effects are not, in reality, as dramatic as played out in that series...

ps. Fyi me even used a few of his sequences as examples in my presentations @that time!

Btw re brake dust probs in rear drums, if only P1 inherited the drum design in previous Mitsu Galant...
The drums cld easily b removed as a separate pc ie w/o touching the wheel bearings at all!!
Juz a simple screw...and the drum comes off!!

That way simple periodic DIY clearance of brake dust & gen maintenance of rear drums can b done so easily!!

Moreover DIY replacement is so simple...juz 1 screw away nia...



These wld truly stand out & give a kind of "classy" look & feel 2our humble Gaga...
More so if the ride is dark-coloured eg Black, Dark Blue...even Red!

Depends on your expectation. The pines does not explode by itself no matter what. However, those seeds will only open up when it's cooked, hence popped quite loud. Obviously, it's loud enough to alert my dad, and both mini MacGyvers(me and my bro) was dragged back to hotel and spent the rest of the day kena lectured.

Yup, practically all of the "gimmicks" used in that series do hv sound basic principles...
Juz that many details had been kinda intentionally omitted 2give those dramatic screen effects 4viewers' entertainment!

Main reason why kids shld hv adult guidance when watching such shows...juz in case...

Until you start to service bawah pokok, you can get the magician to open up the rear brake hub and blow the dust every 2 service, better if every service also do that house keeping. So to be sure dust doesn't get stuck on your brake cylinder.

keep on opening brake hub is also good, at least can keep an eye on brake shoe level. I got some friends their BLM edi more than 4 years old.... open brake hub brake shoe punya besi itself sudah nipis...

Opening up rear brake hubs is simple enuf...
However, the BIG prob with the design of Gaga rear hubs is when re-tightening the self-locking nut back with the correct torque...

Under pokok mechs hv their experience-taught judgement by feel...
Unfortunately, that won't do 4under-own-porch DIY...

To do so, one wld need a properly calibrated Torque Wrench...which is NOT cheap...

ps. Me had an un4getable experience after a P1 SC mech did so 4my ole gen Saga & OVERtightened the hub nut!!
He did NOT use a Torque Wrench (felt the SC shld hv one) & his feel was not experienced enuf...
My hub & bearings were smoking all the way on the HiWay...

1 reason why me lost confidence in SCs...

Conclusion 2my story in the ps. In earlier post?

Had 2go 2a reliable recommended under pokok mech...
Cleaned inside of whole drum...contaminated by melted grease!
Changed new bearings...damaged!
Changed new brake shoes...contaminated by melted grease!

Luckily hub shaft still re-usable altho with "burnt" marks...

ALL that damage juz cos chking/servicing/cleaning rear drum brakes...

y blm most makan minyak until fear to drive.
qaiting for p2 new model in Nov 2013. if reasonable then trade to buy p2. no choice.
