I read up some place that 110km/hr is the efficient speed for FC for saga?
I accelerate damn slow liao...(everytime got those VIOS and myvi girls overtake me My bro heavier Hyudai Matrix 04 1.6 Manual , 1.3Ton, can get 13km/l... This post has been edited by adriangan: Sep 9 2013, 10:12 PM |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 9 2013, 10:25 PM) What FC? Wah power..What speed you drive at highways(long distance)? i don't have the meter so cant judge, but i did drive as the least fuel to just accelerate it to 2.5krpm.Sometimes if travel distance long enough, 16km/litre quite doable ![]() FLX can do ![]() ![]() BLM also can do ![]() ![]() Train your foot to drive more often between 10~15in/hg, u got the holy grail liao. Especially BLM/FL does not have a pre-mapped fuel regulator, better control of gas pedal will make tremendous difference compare to FLX. ![]() Can i ask if i am using the same foot strength on lower gears to climb hill, will it makan more fuel than using high gears(around 1.5k rpm) to climb? |

QUOTE(mat79 @ Sep 10 2013, 12:21 AM) what mr david said about flx cvt is true coz start from 2k rpm onwards, the strategy of the cvt has change where by the character will be more resposive, thats why even u r rev a bit beyond 2k rpm, u will hear it roar n suddenly u feel its alive :-). ohh so mine is manual so change at 2.5k rpm?Thats why, 3 strategies implimented for punch cvt, 1.6k rpm n below, torque retention, to ease driving at parking lot, to park, n driving slowly around neighbourgoud coz u dont want sudden acceleration, or slingshot or rubberband effect especially during parking. Next after 1.6k n bfore 2k rpm, the cvt ratio is labour for fuel efficiency, thats why feel a bit lembab :-), 2k rpm n above, change character, from lembab, suddenly roar, it seems that it reach its powerband. Reason, for cruising n overtaking. Just look at speed when drivng below 1.6k rpm, when driving between 1.7k to 1.9k rpm, and when 2k rpm, u will understand what i said earlier. If understand it, then u will know when to rev below 1.6krpm, when to rev between 1.7k rpm to below 1.9k rpm, and when to rev up from 2k rpm n onward.. Hope this help for cvt flx, whether se or 1.3. Actually its nearly Same as mitsu cvt also in mirage, below 2k rpm is the best, but not too low coz it will reduce torque to assist parking procedure. But of course, cannot beat mirage or even attrage due to 3 cylinders, aluminium n light weight body. |
