QUOTE(descendant @ Sep 5 2013, 10:31 PM) our tank died first lol as a dps it's hard to decide whether to help the tank or to protect the healer when some of the enemies goes straight after the healer Depends on situation, really. If it looks like the mobs can kill healer easily, protect the healer. If it looks like the tank got swarmed and healer seems to be relatively safe, help the tank. It's much easier with voice chat, I'm telling you . So easy to organize XD

QUOTE(descendant @ Sep 5 2013, 10:41 PM) yeah I never really pay attention to the chat when fighting so I didn't noticed the healer keep trying to tell everyone else to attack the imp in the tam tara dungeon Yeah, same here. Between watching the mobs and who they're attacking, my global and separate cooldowns, along with anyone who's nearing death's door, very easy to miss the chat. Much easier if someone just go "Aggro aggro help ah!!!!" on mic XD

QUOTE(descendant @ Sep 5 2013, 10:47 PM) I guess that's why archer range is much further back than the other classes so that archer can stay behind the healer and watch after the healer too I failed as an archer, gotta keep that in mind, next time I'll stay behind the healer I actually learned that from Tera when ranged classes always sticks with healers just in case. Really useful too. Too bad the archer on my first satasha run always leaped in first and get up close and personal with mobs.

QUOTE(descendant @ Sep 5 2013, 10:57 PM) haha this is my first mmo, so everything is pretty new to me my first run in sastacha was weird everyone was going on their own, I was the only one that was following the tank around while the others went to venture on their own Lol on my first satasha run I follow that archer I mentioned since he just attacked everything.

Once, at a game store, someone wanted Halo 3, but for PS3. No matter what the employee said, he insist that he wants one for PS3. He didn't care about the techy legal stuff that is exclusive licensing right or whatever legal mumbo jumbo that prevented Sony to have the right to publish Halo 3 for their console. He just wanted results, that is, to have Halo 3 for PS3. And that employee spent the rest of her shift crying because the customer went as far as to insult her whole family because she can't deliver the result, and she can't say anything back because of the whole "customer is always right" policy. "The customer aren't always right. Most of the time, the customer is a clueless moron." The point I'm trying to make is, us customers should educate ourselves, instead of going "I want what I want and I want it now!" like a spoiled five year old. It's because uneducated customers that they get scammed a lot by minyak lintah seller, because nobody even bother asking "how does the oil enlarge my muscle?", all they care about "this makes it bigger." to make matters worse, the corporate world enforced the belief that clueless, uneducated morons are always right, making those in the service industry deal with entitled, clueless bigot. Hell, I've been called a slut by a customer for being pregnant and not married. I'M A DUDE, I CAN'T GET PREGNANT. But they're always right, that means I'm way long overdue for my first born. Screw biology, customers knows better than biologist. This post has been edited by lightning90: Sep 6 2013, 12:24 AM

QUOTE(wanritsu @ Sep 6 2013, 02:21 AM) This. I really can't wait for the time when we all can play peacefully and actually discuss about the game in this thread. that'll probably happen in the following 2 months when the hype dies down a bit and people got sick of 1017 and other errors. It always happen with new games anyway, crowded at first, barely enough people in town later.

QUOTE(sharpex @ Sep 6 2013, 01:16 PM) Yes, same like convert eq to materia. don't need to be DoH, but to put the materia into the eq, u must get a specific DoH class. And its hard to train DoH Nah, it's more of an annoyance instead of hardship. It's mighty easier if you level everything at once, like getting mining/botany/fishing to level 10, then bs,as,weaver,lw, and the rest to level 10. and start crafting hq stuff for the doh/dol. but it's best to do this after you've unlocked your retainer. I didn't, and now I have only 3 slot left D:

Been waiting a week for chat support with NA SE, 3 times a night, every night since last week, still "no agents available". I'm seriously forgetting why I even want to play the game in the first place. The only thing that keeps me queuing every night is "Answers" by Susan Calloway

QUOTE(law1777 @ Sep 7 2013, 01:08 PM) but i still get freezes black screen a while then recovered abit laggy. alt+tab to window n maximize the game again it will bcome smooth n playable again. but i cannot let this keep happening.. next time when fighting bosses i cannot afford to have that prob Sounds like mine when mine overheats and crashed. Game always ends up laggy after it recovered from the crash. I had to down clock mine to stop it.

QUOTE(kimono38 @ Sep 7 2013, 09:51 PM) This game isn't that particularly fun also. The mechanic of this game is simple, the skill is simple. I really dont know what to aim at this point..Get to lv50 is just a goal, no particular excitement. Do quest just for the storyline. I play many MMO where ifeel like there are many thing to unlock and discover as i move on. In this game, all i know is there is some end game dungeon where i could get good equipment but it still won't change my playstyle. It give better atk/def, and i still do my usually attack combo. Really not convinced after playing for 2 weeks. What you just described are majority of MMO. Every MMO have you get to cap, run end-game dungeon for gear, wait for new level cap/gear/dungeon content patch, repeat. There's really no playstyle needed for background dice-rolling mmo. I play many MMO, and I can say that there's really nothing different aside from superficial mechanic like moving out of the red box. Well, at least crafting and gathering is different.

QUOTE(mikonito @ Sep 7 2013, 10:48 PM) Do not blame him everyone got different idea about what is fun, for example for me i like to farming mob in D3 for few week just for thier different drop, some ppl call it grinding ect and find it boring, for me its was exiting try to get nice loot. If you do not hv fun just leave the game, simple I don't blame him for having different idea of fun. But I do call bull on the whole "play many MMO" and act like FFXIV is any different. point, click, 1,2,3,4,5. Take quest, kill x amount of monster z. Deliver item x to person y. Get to max level, run endgame dungeon, get gear. There's really nothing different aside from superficial mechanic like levequest, crafting, item quality.

ESO is auto-targeting, like BNS and DCUO and some other. I kinda got turned off by auto-target, since it's still dice-rolling point and click minus the click. You just point. That's why FFXIV appeals to me, to be honest. It doesn't bother to 'pretend' to be action mmo. It brings out the nostalgic feeling of generic MMO + epic music. If they advertised as action MMO, I expect physic and hit detection.
WS and EQ:N, can't comment. Hadn't done my research yet. I was actually looking forward to ArcheAge for sandpark MMO, but they simplify the crafting for casuals and the combat is just a bunch of CC fest. If you land the first stun/sleep/snare, you win the internet.
Black Desert Online seems to fit the action combat. Sadly large part of the sandbox feature is largely unknown. The graphic is awesome though.
Back on topic.
I decided to screw the support. waiting for a week for response, they replied, then they closed my ticket before it was resolved. Applied another one, and hope for the best. Wouldn't it suck if I level my current char to max, got epic gear and stuff, and then they finally decide to fix my account by deleting this service account and the character? :3
