lets say they add new worlds and not yet implement server transfer.
I wonder how many people willing to give up the existing character and go over the new world.


I have tested. alt+tab while the game is loading aka changing maps, is like 90% gonna crash the game client.

One thing they should give is free char transfer for 1 time to address this issue

Based on the stingy nature of SE , u think how much chances that they will approve that ...

Same shyt.. 1017. Instead of better connection, now it's worse than before.
No more infinity spam on login in your character.
After some tries, it'll respond server error and kick you out of the client.
Sometimes, after a few tries, character missing lol.. and JPN server list missing.
If not it just hang on the full of stars and hope for you to wait like hell.

They are going in hot water soon. Previously 1.0 all got very pissed. Now with this shyt, u'll expect how many curses and swears swimming across the social/online media about the bad launches of ff14.
People are already paying money for the service now.

I will expect people sue SE or demand for refund...

When AION launched 4 years ago was far better than FF14...

The game rating is definitely 10/10.
There's too many promising features on the game system and everything about the game.
But one thing ruin the whole damn game. That's connection issue. Which is also the most fundamental necessity of mmorpg.
They spent so many effort revamping the whole game systems and graphics.
But neglect on the connection lol.. -.-"

Reminds me of when AION had a long long hours of maintenance.
People actually rushed to their main office in NY to complain and wanted to sue them.. hehe

AF+1 is the best of the best. Only Allagan is on par with it and you get that in Bahamut Coil. So far only 1 guild in the world has entered Bahamut's Coil.

Your gear progression should be:

AF -> Amdapor for Grand Company Level 50 weapon unlock + Amdapor gear max melded -> Ifrit HM + Darklight gear (buy with philosohpy tomes after you get enough for your Relic weapon) -> Garuda HM -> Titan HM -> Finish Relic Weapon -> Allagan gear (bahamut) + Relic+1 (3 weeks of Amdapor) -> save mythology tomes for each of your af+1 parts.

If Amdapor is too hard for you, do Wanderer's Palace to get ilvl55 gear. Amdapor is ilvl60. Darklight is ilvl70. Allagan and AF+1 is ilvl90.

If you minmax your amdapor gear, it should last you through to Garuda and possibly Titan HM. You should be getting your darklight gear by Titan so keep running amdapor each week till you cap mythology tomes (300, 40/run) and then do praetorium if you have enough ppl.

They already said due to 1.0 failure, they didn't expect ARR to sell this well.

And it's not like they have a store room filled with extra server capacity that they can just "YO! GO RUN TO STORE ROOM AND GET SOME MORE SERVER CAPACITY!" after seeing the sales record. They need to go through channels and what not to get the hardware. It's not like Yoshida can just pull out his wallet, give his credit card to the office boy and say "Go buy some extra server."

Then he is definitely stupid of not knowing the statistic of sales and volumes. You can get a wide guess of how many players from the account database creation. Supply and demand yo~

It's more like how come they approve of selling so many copies which includes even digital ones first handed.
It's like getting orders for 20 customers who need 20 carton of eggs but have only 18 on hand/in stock.
When customer started to grew into fury, they tried to hatch the eggs into chick and ask the customers to understand that chick growing into chicken takes time.
Well that's some sort of understanding we really need to raise our eyebrown on.
