QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ Aug 25 2013, 04:48 PM) Friend of mine sent his Lenovo to the center (not sure where precisely) and received the laptop in good condition after 10 days. That's all I know. Better than Asus it seems. Ask your, which service center is that. Bcuz, i send mine at Lifetech Technology Service near Seremban. 3 weeks still not done. And now, Im still waiting for it

QUOTE(FatalExe @ Oct 8 2013, 02:51 PM) Yeah. The guy told me this was a common problem and easily fixed by replacing the motherboard. He said Lenovo sends out the parts pretty quick. The good thing was he listened to my problem and believed me and he didnt really test it since I described quite clearly what the problem is. The moment he heard my situation he straight said he will change the motherboard no questions asked. It was an authorized service agent and not those official IBM/Lenovo centres so the procedure might be quicker unlike official ones where they have to go through certain procedures like reformat, test few days for problems, if got problem only they will change the parts. My cousin's Z480 which had similar problems with the GPU went to a service agent in Rawang, he got it back in 5 days. Quite efficient too but my cousin got cheated rm10 there for reformat when it should be free. i dont even know about this!!! yeah, the seremban service center is IBM/Lenovo. I just know last week. Mine is also motherboard. And just now i called them, the stock is just arrived. But the laptop still not done. I asked them to finish it this week. Waaaaaa SOOO MADDDDD Bcuz my case is, i just bought Y500 for less than a week. Then the problem of autoshutdown become worsen till the day 5. The laptop cant even start So, thats why, im too mad since the faulty is not because of me

QUOTE(FatalExe @ Oct 8 2013, 03:02 PM) Can't just exchange the laptop from the shop? They should have a refund period wad.. My cousin's Z480 had problems and changed another one from the shop but still got problems though. Looks like Lenovo Quality Control really really really bad.. but their laptops damn cheap for their specs la. So is like gambling with the quality only. If you Google "Lenovo GPU problems" you can see thousands of results. Definitely cause of the different organizational system in official centres. They need to follow a strict protocols and procedures.. Now you know already, next time go to service agents for better service. I called the lenovo center. They said it is capable to be 1-1 exchange. But now, the seremban service center just like advising me for only repair the motherboard. That's why i mad. But, finally I asked the lenovo center. Let the service center repaired mine. But I still want the lenovo follow up my request for 1-1 exchange. WARGHHHHH. I spend likely RM4k to use it less than a week and the rest my laptop is at service center. How come I not mad!!!!!
