i have been branded a "SINNER" in another forum for announcing that i play only PC games .. but i play only Real Time Strategy games. I've NEVER played any other types of game (or maybe SIM City). I bought Far Cry and Battle Field 2 but i have yet to instal the games (Far Cry is more than a year old now and Battlefield 2 is like 1/2 year oredi. So should i get a console?

Why not? just throw your RM700 into that PS2 and see if you like it.

but seriously, just buy a PS2 and try it out. You'll experience games you'll never find on the PC!

Btw, I'm also an RTS only gamer on the PC. But i enjoy tons of other games on consoles!

RTS and FPS are best played on PC with mouse and keyboard.
If you play it in console, the console controller is the limiting factor.

yeah..no need to upgrade ur hardware..buy the console man... hehe

Not for Nintendo Wii. It will offers controls that can surpass keybord+mouse combination.

I think you saying that while the Wiimote is a good substitute for the mouse, it will be hard to use shortcuts keys like veteren RTS players always do.

Umm...maybe we can customise shortcuts by making gestures with the Wiimote.

Get an Xbox 360.
LOTR: Battle of Middle Earth and The Outfit are enough attractive for the thinker (although unfortunately without shortcut keys).
Spore is also rumoured to come to the 360.

Besides that, you have the arcade games, which are quite cheap and are like those on the PC (besides the best of them all, Geometry Wars)

Only strategy + action, no pure RTS. Kingdoms Under Fire.

Surpass..i think not yet because mouse tech has become more & more accurate (higher dpi) like with the laser mouse, but wiimote will definitely change the way people play game. Immersive is the word i prefer to use.
