hello, friends - jersey collector/long-time lurker from the USA here. looking for some advice on PU namesets...

i have DIY-ed many namesets & patches over the years - lextra, PU, etc...i recently bought a Ukraine 2006/07 home shirt and want to apply a Shevchenko 7 NN. I found an original NN on ebay - has anyone ever applied an old (10+ years...) PU NN? i've heard that it can be a little bit risky...what do you guys think?
