Anyone knows where I can get HP's latest Proliant Microserver Gen 10. I've tried contacting few shops online but all asking 50% deposit which sounds like scam. Is there any shops with ready stock? http://itdeals.com.my/home/index.php/en/se...1-q8l01a-detail

QUOTE(thankyou @ Dec 22 2017, 11:11 PM) They insisted for me to do a 50% deposit to buy it which sounds like scam to me. No product without deposit payment.

QUOTE(thankyou @ Dec 25 2017, 12:53 AM) I think if you are worrying about paying deposit... you should walk in to any HP retail shop and make an order through the store. Again, it's full payment upfront but at least, you don't have to worry they run away with your money... I ordered a few DL 360 servers at MV HP retail store... Mobility Square Sdn Bhd I just don't understand the concept of paying deposit for something instead of cash on delivery. These are shops and they cant afford to get stock from supplier?

QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 5 2018, 09:54 AM) Normally asking to pay deposit is that, they don't stock such item in the shop. It is not a popular thing and keeping in the shop is a dead stock. Such supplier won't send their unit to the shop for free. They will order it for you if you want. Deposit is to make sure you're serious about it. Want using cash, just go over to the shop and pay. They cant sell also without deposit.
